Merece mucho la pena, jugué en su momento en la 64 y ahora en la 3DS está de muerte. Los textos cambian al castellano obviamente por la configuración de tu consola y porque el juego es para la región europea.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still timeless

Now if everyone has seen my reviews, I rarely give 5 out of 5 and I didn't want to write a review straight away in case I was being too biased from excitement so I've played it for the past couple of days.

I'm sure fans already know how engrossing the game is, but for newcomers it really is a chance to relive that spark that older games use to have that new ones just fail to capture. There's something about the environment and your character Link's interaction with everything around him. It's not just about saving the world, there's little things you can enjoy doing like fishing or doing the mini games, or deciding to collect all the heart pieces or gold skulltulas. There's so much side quests you can do to pass the time and I highly recommend you try it all because you're not going to be able to experience what's great about it if you just simply stick to the story.

I love how the worlds as a child and as an adult contrast so much and how it has an impact on the characters who live there. This is especially nicely illustrated due to the graphical upgrade. Newcomers may not appreciate it as much, but old fans sure will. No more jagged edges,no flat textures (the background trees in the forest temple was just wallpaper)and now Link looks stunning. Remember the way Link use to look like before? Now he actually matches the concept drawings the way it was intended to. Go try comparing what he use to look like, it is a BIG difference. What I love most about the graphical update is when Hyrule changes between night and day. The sunset is visually stunning and no longer does it just turn dark blue, there's a variety of colours and the moon and stars illuminate brightly.

So, why should newcomers and people that have already played it before buy it?

1. I think the story is laid out well and I'm not just talking about the main plot. Characters have personality and their side quests aren't irritating at all (although you may find the Biggoron sword quest a real pain).

2. Getting to point a to b is actually enjoyable rather than gruelling. There's no real repetition because each dungeon has different puzzles that are required to complete using a specific weapon. There's no similarities between dungeons like there might be in majority of games now where it gets mundane and predictable.

3. There's so much to do along side the main plot. As mentioned above, side quests aren't a chore. I've actually enjoyed finding upgrades to my weapon,or finding heart pieces and gold skulltulas. I find it's a nice break to the main quest and actually enhances the experience. You'll actually find it rewarding. I forgot to mention, there's nothing like riding your horse across Hyrule

4. For people who already own Ocarina of Time, the addition of Master Quest and the boss battle system may actually interest you.
5. In addition, the portability alone is worth buying it for. Ocarina of Time has always stayed on home consoles and I've been waiting for the day it would become portable. I enjoy taking it everywhere with me, even if just to play in short bursts (if I even can dare to put it down). I feel it makes it even more playable because you can literally pick up and play at any moment. It was something people hoped for to be able to play Ocarina of Time on your journeys and now it's possible.

6. For newcomers, if you've never experienced a Zelda game before, I can't think of a better way to be introduced to it. I'm not saying other Zelda games aren't as good because they all are (Twilight Princess, Link's Awakening, Link to the Past, even Windwaker although some would disagree on that). Zelda has always had some sort of magic within their games, whether it has mind blowing graphics or simple sprites. However, you can finally see what the fuss is about because it is unusual for a game to age well and still have raving reviews. In the past this game has got 100% and it still holds a near perfect score. That in itself should be persuasive.

These reasons may not be enough to persuade everyone, but I can't recommend this game so highly. I've never enjoyed doing dungeons as much as Ocarina of Time because despite the fact it can be frustrating, it's actually very fun and clever. You'll feel a sense of achievement when you finally understand how to get to where you need to. The puzzles that are influenced by weapons are interesting and has always been a staple in Zelda games. You'll be spending a lot of your time just doing the side quests rather than actually completing the game, and yes even fishing can be really fun. For me, the fact it's now portable is a major plus. I literally can not stop picking it up and playing it and even now I'm going to take it to uni with me for my journey. I apologise for the long review, but I hope it helps explain why it's still such a good game to buy. It has such a replay value that rarely has someone just played it once. I hope newcomers give themselves the favour of experiencing this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

When nintendo announced this game was to be rereleased on the 3DS I couldn't wait. A masterpiece was to be done again with revamped graphics, redefined dungeons, master quest implemented in the game all in an ultimate 3D experience on the new Nintendo 3DS. This was a dream come true as I have never played the original yet.

Let me start by saying that the original version of the game was playing at a low 20fps. The 3DS version bumped it up a little with 30fps which makes the game experience much more flowing. Especially with the new and improved graphics the game looks amazing. It feels really new keeping the original aspect of the game from 1998. It feels better and easier to get into. With the 3D slider turned on you become really part of the game and once you are in that sweet spot it is hard getting out of as every detail has been changed. No more 2D shapes or cardboard set up mountains that were on the N64.

The heart of every Zelda experience is the gameplay. Once you start taking control of the character and walk around Hyrule you really start to grow fond of him and the environment. Even cutting grass is and feels amazing. Something I could do for a long time. The controls are really well implemented on the 3DS. The two screen layout fits amazingly as all the action takes place on the top screen and your inventory and map are on the bottom. Going through dungeons or temples no longer seem like a chore as they are so fun and intuitive. The puzzles are original and very well planned out. Not many of them has been changed from the original. The bosses are really cool and a the "L" lock system works well when fighting. Even when riding Epona on the fields is addicting just like the adventure itself.

The story is the same but retold in a different way. The players who have played it before will fell back at home. They will still enjoy the game but not as much as the newcomers. I am not saying that people who have played this game won't like it but just that not much in the game will seem new. I still recommend it to those who have played it before. This has to be the best 3DS game out yet. It is truly amazing and I am telling you that you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this Zelda story! I had it on the original N64. I was thinking of getting an old N64 and the game but a friend visited me with her son and his 3DS console and it made me go WOW and he was only playing Mario!

I chose Zelda free with the 3DS XL package and so glad I did.

I skipped most of the set up of 3DS and just put Zelda in, the cut scenes are amazing with the 3D effect on. You feel like you can touch the images coming out of the screen. It was like stepping back into my childhood!

I have found I get headache after a while though so at moment only watching the cut scenes in 3DS and playing the game with 3D turned off. This maybe cos it's new to me I've never seen a 3D movie either before. I still think it was worth the money and worth getting the 3DS version of XL rather than just the DSi XL version.

I'm planning to get Final Fantasy next as they usually have some awesome cut scenes in their games too!

Ocarina of Time is definitely my favourite Zelda story, I like it better than the Wii version of Zelda (which I also have and bought with my very first Wii)

My only mini gripe is it doesn't quite save where you actually saved it. I saved right outside door of first dungeon and when Link died in battle it returned me to outside the Deku Tree not outside the door of the last dungeon. I know the older games used to save at set points like beginning of a dungeon but with all the advances made and the fact it came with a SD card and I could bring up save anywhere, I was expecting it to return me to the exact spot where I had saved!

It's still a brilliant game, I haven't got far yet as it only arrived yesterday but I'm really looking forward to the adventure!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good intro

I've never played The Legend of Zelda series before this one, and it was a good introduction to the franchise. Not too hard, but not too easy. It really does grab you, and when you fail, you want to try again. I can a bit much to do, with all the side quests, but just finishing it was a great experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute joy to play

I'll start by admitting i'm one of the few gamers who had never played Ocarina, much to the consternation of my gaming friends. It came out back around the time my son was born and i pretty much missed that whole generation.

I decided to get this as a present for my wife. She had loved the two Zelda games for DS so I reckoned this was a good bet for her as an extra birthday pressie.

I'm very pleased I did as she is delighted with it.

I couldn't resist creating my own profile and finally giving this game a go, I had to see what all the fuss was about. Well, what can I say? Blown away. The game is just such a perfect combination of action/adventure and rpg.

The story is compelling, the combat is fun, the characters are endearing and well realised and whole thing just comes together to create a whole that has just sucked me in and kept me playing. I find the difficulty balance is good. It doesn't hold your hand too much and it can take time to work things out but nothing ever seems out of reach, it's just right for keeping you wanting more.

The world is lovely and looks so pretty on the 3ds. I can't see 3d very well but I'm still able to get a sense of the depth and it seems to work quite well but i mostly play without it.

I can't believe i waited this long. It deserves the plaudits. A bona fide masterpiece.

5.0 out of 5 stars A view for both Ocarina of Time Newcomers and Veterans
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 21, 2011

I have two views on Ocarina of Time 3D, one for newcomers and one for those who've experienced it before (I fall into the latter category).

Newcomers:

This is a sensational action adventure game and should be at the top of your shopping list if you own a 3DS. Despite numerous facets of OOTs' gameplay having been copied ad infinitum for the last 13 years, it still holds up as one of the most balanced, accessible, involving and 'magical' games ever made. This view also applies to those who've played subsequent games in the series.

Veterans:

OK, it's the same game with remodelled and now autostereoscopic graphics plus some very useful touch screen interface shortcuts and minimal gyro input. Initally my feelings were along the lines of "the firefiles are nice in 3D", "The Deku Tree looks more real" and "I know what's coming next" and for a moment I felt I may be in for an anti-climax. However, after picking up the first spiritual stone and setting foot into Hyrule field, I was sucked right back in and have played it pretty much non-stop since. If you're die hard enough to have completed OOT on multiple occasions then you've probably bought this already. So for those of you like me who probably only completed it the once, re-discovering Hyrule fields' tangible expanse, the Zora Domain's utopian ambience, the Forest Temple's Carrollian idiosyncracies (and THAT Boss) and every other thing that made OOT so memorable is a pleasure to experience once more.

So in short yes you should buy it too.
