I was skeptical when I first got this hair dryer. Sure, it moves a lot of air but it is a bit heavier than I expected. I also don't like the non-flexible cord. The dryer is well balanced and while I had similar problems other have with where the switches were located, I got used to them fairly quickly. After using it for a few days I've decided I really like this dryer. It does move a lot of air and using the concentrator makes it easy to direct and makes drying fast. Very fast. Despite moving so much air it doesn't feel like standing in a wind tunnel. I'm satisfied with it and hope it will last longer than ones I buy for half the price.

Dryer too hot... it's singed my hair several times!

I have to write a review to warn you guys... if you're looking for a blow dryer that's HOT, you'll find it here... this blow dryer has singed my hair *several* times since getting it. At first I thought it was because I couldn't find the focuser that came with it, and I assumed it was my fault for letting the end of the barrel touch my hair while I was drying it. But, I've since ordered some generic focusers, and I can attest that even with a couple of inches of plastic keeping my hair away from the metal of the blow dryer, it STILL burns my hair. As in, breaks off in the middle of the strand because a little bit in the middle got too hot and burns right through. It's fun having awkward length hair right in front now...... :-/ (For what it's worth, I'm not a professional hair stylist, but I am in a public facing career and have years of experience doing camera and stage worthy hair for myself. So, not a pro, but I definitely come with experience, and this is a first!)

Decided to replace my old Conair hairdryer with this one and I absolutely love it. It dries my long hair in a matter of minutes. The air is very powerful, yet quiet. It is light weight. The best part is I save time now when I dry my hair. Only negative is the buttons are on the handle where you hold it so I sometimes turn it off when I do not mean to.
