Excellent Product. Don't doubt or hesitate, just buy!

Unbelievable phone. And I had many phones in the last 7 years (not including using my wife's, cousin's, etc..). And now the price is dropping even further down. With phones like this one and the next gen in 2014, iphones will have a tough time selling soon although they have a niche market and people are seemingly Apple-lifers. If you use an iphone 5S for a week and then put your hands on the LG G2, you would realize what most already know- Android rules & LG is providing superior tech without all the high price of Samsung and Sony. Don't get me wrong, I was a big supporter and user of the iphone and Galaxy lines, and maybe I'll change to something different in the future- however, Google with their open-source method and rapid adoption by developers and outrageous number of choices and ''free'' apps, it would be near impossible to think of an alternative. And this BEAST of a phone, sorry ... BEAST of a portable computer in my hand/pocket - I can enjoy entertainment and also use the many productivity tools for my work with incredible ease. How do we go back to the times before this?

Device is refurbished and defective !

Update: after tearing down the phone I discovered this device is actually refurbished. The screen assembly is from a D800 (AT&T) model, the camera cover is non-genuine, and the user manual is for the LG P920 (Optimus 3D) ???!

DO NOT BUY.

As much as I wanted to love this device, I got a few issues:
- The 3G/4G network doesn't work properly and the phone always falls back to 2G. I'm on AT&T, 4G isn't supposed to work but there should be no problem with 3G. Galaxy Note International and LG G4 International have no problem. The antenna might be broken, I can't tell for sure.
- The camera lens is defective and has a huge scratch on it (took a microscope to see it). Lots of flare on all the pictures I take. It costs around $40 to replace.
- The screen makes ripples if I press too hard on it, but it's mostly okay
- The battery was dead when it arrived, which doesn't sound too good

Otherwise it's still a very solid phone. Good performance, good battery. If you are lucky you might get a non-defective device, but I would recommend buying a non-discontinued product instead.

The phone works as advertized. All the software features, that I am sure, a lot of people already talked about, work as promised and really enhance the experience. The back buttons require a little getting used to. In some situations they are advantaguous (i.e. when holding it in one hand) in others they aren't (Phone lies on the table). everything is fast and lag free. I accidentally ordered the wrong version of the phone. sending it back works fine. I instantly got the confirmation, that I can send it back and a label to print and put on the package. I have time until january to do that. My rating is based on a phone I got from another shop, that I bought right after discovering my mistake. They didn't have the 32 GB version here. I got the phone for approximately one week now.

Still going strong, I considered upgrading to the G3 or G4, but they're just too large for my taste.
The G2 has one of the best screen to body ratio - with its 5.2" screen in a body the size of most 5" or 5.1" phone, like the Samsung S series or the Nexus 5, etc. Its battery, processor and RAM, which were outstanding when it was first introduced, make it still a viable phone. It stutters a bit with heavy usage and quick switching between apps, but holds its own beautifully with day to day activity.

Erratic Phone Network - Not Good.

If you have some cool $500.00 or more to waste, then go for this, particularly from this seller - On The Go Solutions. Barely six months after I ordered, phone is no more functioning. Currently the phone has become a "toy" in my hands. I have tried other service providers' sim cards. But the problem is the same, even though phone is supposed to be factory unlocked & International version. Also, at periods when the network was functioning, the internet would not be working well even when the necessary setting has been done. After several contacts with LG, I was told phone was made in Taiwan - but there was "made in Korea on the box that contained the phone - and so LG Taiwan should help me solve the problem. Yet problem could not solve. What is worse, the seller appears indifferent when contacted. After contacting him through Amazon, he never replied to my message nor suggested any solution to my problem.

From a personal stand point. I chose this phone for my sister and it is simply amazing. It's a really amazing phone one year later. I'm not a fan of LG's UI on android but they do add some functional tools and some other android phones are missing, like the ability to open the calculator on top of another app.

The phone is nice ! Nice value for your money ! Actually the camera is better in low light than Samsung Galaxy S4. The screen is a little bit bigger! The only thing that I don't understand at all : What the hell is with the main button put it on the back side ? If LG wanted to be unique... they are !!! but is just a stupid unique thing ! No logic ! near the camera ... for sure you will put your greasy fingerprint on the camera lens ! And if I keep my phone on the table near me and I need to open the screen... instead to touch a front button, I need to lift it up to find the back button and push it and put the phone back on the table....
And the continue with this silly smart backside button with G3 and G4 and ... nobody told them !!! This button make the phone completely annoying !!!

This phone feels absolutely amazing in the hand. Very nice hard/smooth plastic body (don't get stereotypical of plastic because it actually feels nice). I've had this phone for the day, and all I can say is wow. I cannot wait to show off how amazing this phone is to my friends and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high end smartphone!

There is one complaint that's rather large, I use Straight Talk on AT&T but this phone doesn't support the LTE Bands! It was a huge let down, because LTE just seemed to be something you wouldn't have to worry about getting. Regardless, I get 8mb/s download steady on HSPDA+ but it all depends on your local coverage!

Please view your carrier's supported bands and your phone's supported bands to see what speeds you'll be getting!

First things first, this is not a bad phone by any means. I like the design where the buttons are all on the back of the smartphone, its very unique. The phone is fast and snappy, i had no big problems with it when it came in. The box was a little torn up when it came in, but that is not a big problem to me. the battery life on the phones has not perform so well although it has a 3000mAh battery. I think overtime it will get better. One bad thing about this phone is the screen quality. I don't know if my phone is defected or not, but it seems that every time that i would press hard on the screen, there appear to be pressure creating a blurry white circle on the screen. it's not really a big problem since I don't press phone screens hard, usually. But, it does get annoying when you are playing games and pressing down hard at the screen which creates that blurry white circle. Everything else about this phone is flawless. One more thing, the lg ui sucks, but i downloaded nova launcher which is a million times better.

DEVICE DEAD out of the BOX

Very very sad and disappointed! I bought with sacrifice this phone as a gift for my son from seller TJ Global. I had to find someone traveling to Venezuela and finally today my son received the phone ! I wanted him to have the pleasure and joy to open and turn it on for the first time ! and Oh surprise!!! the cellphone OUT OF THE BOX didn't do anything! is DEAD! it didn't turned on.. and he even tried to charge it just in case it was uncharged... the device didn't do anything! Dead !!! Now what can I do?? I'm so frustrated.! Now I have to wait for another person to come to the US and bring this thing back here. I hope the seller will answer my complaints.. because I cant afford to loose MY money. I tried to contact the seller hope they get my message and tell me what to do. They sold me a defective device.

Update: in one momento suddenly ti turned on.. BUT we found out the battery was completely DEAD.. and the screen DAMAGED.. I will post photos of this dead device that is not usable at all. Firs is that it doesn't turn on when you need to . Second, when you then put it to charge.. it doesn't take a full charge.. Third, the screen is messed up as you will see in the pictures: status bar damaged, a black spot on the left and a line crossing the screen that is increasing day by day. Also the SMS system doesn't work. This telephone was DEFECTIVE and I lost my money!! I find nowhere to call at least to tell them a couple of things. Even If I lost my money!! I'm FURIOUS!
