Great Game. Read where Nintendo was going to rerelease this package for the nx upgrade after breath of the wild releases. The ganondorf figure will instead be an Amiibo which is awesome. I decided to post this to those thinking about spending a huge amount of cash for a figure. Can't blame the sellers because most own a store and have trouble selling retro games for a few dollars, so they mark the prices up online looking to capitalize off collectors. My local pawnshop has a few new copies of Dracula x for 60 bucks but is charging 300 online.

figurine couldn't have been better

The figure had some little problems including the fact that it can't always stand properly on its base. The game is awesome and looks awesome although it's only a remake it was great to play it again. I don't understand why the figurine couldn't come with a protection/display dome as the european edition did, we often get a lesser product than other regions which I think it's kind of unacceptable. All that said, the figurine and the game are pretty awesome.

It's gone up in price a lot (Majora's Mask 3D Limited Edition may be part of why as well) but if you can get it for $80 or less, it might be worth it. The QC is pretty bad, and attaching the tassels to the swords is horrible. Mine won't stay in place, and I can't even attach Ganondorf to the base properly, he doesn't stay in completely.

Fantastic Game and a Nice Limited Edition!

First and foremost, this limited edition is fairly rare. GameStop is the ONLY retailer that sold it (hence GameStop exclusive). They have been sold out since a few days after preorders were opened. The only option now is to purchase on sites like Amazon or eBay from third party sellers.

I remember getting the Wind Waker for the GameCube way back when the game came out many years ago. I was only just barely a teenager at that time but I knew I had to have the game after seeing screenshots of it in my Nintendo Power magazines. Finally, the day came when I got the game in the mail. My mom had ordered the special bundle for me from Nintendo Power that included the game along with things like the player's guide and various other bonuses. I played the heck out of that game. I would come home from a long day at school and sit for several hours at a time, after getting my homework done of course.

Fast forward to the year 2013 and we are reintroduced to this amazing title in full blown HD. The graphics are a very nice edition to the game as a whole. I found myself just staring at some of the environments in amazement of how great everything looked. I remember everything about The Wind Waker. The characters, the great rides from island to island, the story, and the music. There is so much in this game that really speaks to me in terms of the environment. The characters feel lifelike as you progress on your journey. Of course, some may feel confused by that statement because this game is not one of those where photorealism is a thing. To me, a game is meant to be played to escape reality... not to live in it.

The limited edition bundle that includes a copy of the game and a statue of Ganondorf himself (the villain in most Zelda titles) is actually pretty nice. I preordered the bundle as soon as it was announced. The statue feels great in the hand is of high quality. There is one thing that should be noted. The North American version of this limited edition does NOT come with a glass dome like the European edition does. The North American version comes with a base, the statue itself, and the tassels that hook to the ends of Ganondorf's swords for decoration.

As for the price, I think it depends on the person. An avid Legend of Zelda fan NEEDS to own a copy of this game with the statue! Last I checked, GameStop has been completely sold out. They only had one batch of them to sell and that was it. I really doubt that they will be getting any more in stock as it wouldn't be a collector's item otherwise.

Overall, the game is fantastic in HD. I would absolutely recommend the game to any Zelda fan.

Great Game!, Terrible Price!

I love the Wind Waker, I have since I first bought it for the Nintendo GameCube, and it looks absolutely gorgeous in HD on mi Wii U.

This edition was a Pre-Order bonus from GameStop, I got mine that way and besides the game it comes with a pretty cool statue of Ganondorf as he appears in the game, but man... $130?!

I got mine for $60!, I understand that it was a Limited Edition but I can assure you the statue is not worth $70.

Get the regular version of the game, or the Wii U Bundle, those are more worth it
