My iPad 2 was slowing down, and a wavy, hazy, crazy color scheme appeared. I had uploaded the 10.3.2 iOS. Suggestions from others was to hit the back of the iPad. Nothing worked. Apple support suggested it would be expensive to fix. So, I have a new iPad Air 2.
The iPad2 is thinner, lighter, and more powerful than any other Mobil device I have used. This iPad is 6.1 mm thick. It looks and feels fantastic. The camera is so much better. This iPad has a 3 core processor.
The Touch ID is one of the more attractive features. It took a couple of tries to get my fingerprint sensor matched to the iPad, but now the Touch ID is very easy to use. I can also use the same Touch ID for several Apps that I use frequently. The wireless connection is faster, it took very little time to set up this iPad Air2 to my wifi.
I knew this iPad was supposed to be faster, but the speed is fantastic. After using my old iPad2, I assume any new iPad would be faster, but this is really remarkable. Retina display is so much better as are the colors and clarity. The LED backlight makes reading from this iPad akin to my kindle. The microphone ports are on the bottom, two rows and the speaker seems louder.
This iPad is fantastic for my use. I have a laptop, but use my iPad almost exclusively. The iPad Air 2 comes with an AC wall adapter, a lightening connector, and a small instruction sheet. All you need to know to set up your iPad is here. I had already chosen my cover for my iPad Air2, and ordered it the same day as the iPad. They both arrived in the same package. Very convenient, Amazon. Set up was easy because I had downloaded everything I wanted to move from my old iPad to my new iPad on my iCloud. I clicked on download, and everything I wanted was at hand. Love this iPad Air 2.
