Not worth it in long run

After a while we stopped using the camera because the video and image quality is just so much lower than what we are used to with our smart phones… especially low light performance is really bad. Like indoors in lower lit areas

We ordered this to take on holiday as we like to snorkel and take underwater photos. Our previous underwater camera was an olympus tough tg 610 which was fantastic. We were so disappointed with this panasonic that we returned it for a full refund after we returned. Picture quality was grainy and poor. In one photo my partners striped t shirt appeared to be just a giant swirl! We were so disappointed we didn't even try taking it in the water and after minor use on the beach sand had managed to get inside it so water easily would have done. Very disappointing!

Unsere Alte Lumix DMC-FS16 hat nach einigen Jahren den Geist aufgegeben. Also musste Ersatz her. Durch die durchweg guten Erfahrungen mit unserer Alten, sollte es wieder eine Lumix sein. Wir sind keine Profifotografen und ein Vermögen sollte sie auch nicht kosten. Eben für Schnappschüsse bei Ausflügen und ähnlichem. Die Bildqualität ist für meine Ansprüche ausreichend. Videos habe ich noch nicht gemacht, kann daher nichts dazu sagen. Aussehen stylisch schick. Handhabung funktioniert trotz meiner etwas kräftigeren Finger ohne Probleme. Einen kleine Abzug gibt es, weil keine SD-Karte mitgeliefert wird. Aber meistens hat man doch noch eine rumliegen. Wer wie wir eine ältere Lumix FS-16 hat, kann übrigens den Akku weiter benutzen. Er passt auch in die FT-30. Zur Wasserdichtigkeit kann ich nichts sagen. Dafür haben wir sie primär nicht angeschafft. Wir sind mit dieser Kamera sehr zufrieden.
