Please note: HDMI only supports 120Hz use a display port connection if you wish to use the 144hz.

Also you will only benefit from monitors such as this one with a higher Hz output - if your PC can run games at higher than 60FPS - please test your favourite games frame rate before you buy - otherwise you can add RAM and a new Graphics card & possibly a processor to your shopping list.

Colours out of the box are washed and poor - can be rectified by exchanging settings.

Also connect monitor to your Graphics card rather than your motherboard. (important)

TN panel, 144hz, low input lag/response time - ideal for FPS games such as fortnite, COD, CSGO etc. Great price also.

Build quality very sturdy and set-up is very easy to do - 1 screw

Colours are not the most accurate as expected when you buy a TN panel - buy this monitor for games you wish to perform well in and enjoy visually -

Would recommend this monitor for those that primarily play esports/online games
Would not recommend this particular monitor for those who desire the best visuals - as it is a TN panel please research IPS or above quality screen panels.

In fairness too this monitor - it makes RPG's also look fantastic also.

L'ho comprato perché, al contrario di tutti i pannelli asus, non è ingombrante grazie alla struttura della base e lo spostamento verticale è il più lungo che c'è sul mercato, il che mi ha permesso di non dover acquistare un supporto Vesa.
Ottimo acquisto per giochi FPS, inutile per altro.

Cost-effective, good refresh rate

I got this screen a small few weeks ago now and it's proven very good for gaming, especially at the price it's currently at [UK, 'sale' price].
The refresh rate is decently high at 144Hz, and importantly it also comes with AMD's FreeSync technology, which is a performance-light vertical sync option when your graphics card communicates directly to your monitor.

FreeSync (or the Nvidia equivalent if curious) is useful as it almost totally elimates screen-tearing, even on games that didn't come out with v-sync options.
Also remember that FreeSync gives you better performance as you are free to disable VSync in game options and allow your monitor to catch it instead.

It's worth noting that the default screen settings are downright hideous. When you first get the screen, whites will be burning and colours are washed out and overly bright. It took a while to get my screen to look tolerable, but after a few days of semi-regular tweaking and using Windows' monitor calibration I got it fine.

A few other reviews say their preferred screen settings, though those might not be best for you.

I rated 5 for durability, as I don't know what defines a 'durable' monitor. I haven't dropped it, but the base feels firm.

Best Value 144Hz Monitor, Period.

This is easily the best value 144Hz monitor currently on the market. For the price you pay (I paid £185.99 for mine), you really get a lot for the money. Some features cannot be found on more expensive monitors (such as FreeSync). Pair this monitor with an AMD graphics card such as an RX 480 and you're getting a really solid gaming experience for an absurdly inexpensive price.

Now for the big question, can you tell the difference between 60Hz and 144Hz? Coming from a 60Hz panel and logging 1.5K hours in CS:GO on said monitor I can wholeheartedly say yes, there is a difference; a huge difference in fact. Motion is substantially smoother and mouse movement feels more responsive and precise. I find it hard to go back 60Hz just because of how ridiculously smooth and easy on the eyes 144Hz is.

This monitor is VESA mountable and I currently am using it with a monitor arm. The DisplayPort cable included with the monitor worked, however, was too small (around 1m) meaning I had to purchase a new cable. This monitor supports 1080p/60Hz via HDMI, 1080p/120Hz via DVI and the full 1080p/144Hz via DisplayPort so be sure to use DisplayPort to unlock the monitor's full potential.

Once thing I will point out is that this is a TN panel. If you are not looking at this monitor from a 'gamer first' perspective and do sensitive colour work then I wouldn't recommend this monitor for that purpose as the colour reproduction is not the greatest, however, if you are looking for a high-refresh rate monitor primarily for competitive gaming then you can't go wrong with this.

Now I am eagerly awaiting AMD's line of VEGA graphics cards in order to take full advantage of the 144Hz refresh rate with FreeSync in more demanding titles! Best purchase I have made for a while!

Ecran trop lumineux.
En display port 144hz ok mais luminosité, contraste complètement inreglable.
Même constat pour le mode hdmi.
Il a fallu que je passe par le dvi pour avoir des réglages optimale, par contre je suis limité avec la fréquence verticale :120htz
Je réduis ma note car après 7 mois d'utilisation je regrette mon achat. Je passe mon temps a refaire les réglages. A chaque reboot, sortie de jeu les paramètres de l'écran reset tout seul.
