Very Disappointing Air Flow- especially for the price!

I spent a small fortune on 2 of these for my huge outdoor covered patio living area. They look great, I love the remotes and the integrated light is a nice feature. However, the air movement on these fans sucks- there's no other way to put it. I was concerned about the mixed reviews I saw on Amazon but decided to take my chances because this was the exact model recommended by a contractor. I wish I had trusted the reviews instead though because I've felt much smaller fans create a much better breeze than these fans. I would not recommend these under any circumstance and I'll definitely go with something else when we build our next house.

Did a lot of research before we ordered this fan for our new great room. The fan arrived quickly, well-packaged, and in perfect condition, as did the 72" down rod we purchased along with it (this went on a 20' high ceiling in a very large room). Installation was handled by an electrician we hired in about an hour and seemed to go pretty smoothly. Even though it sits about 12' above the floor, it moves air REALLY well around the whole room even at about 2/3 speed. It's also beautiful and makes a statement in the room. Highly recommend this fan and can't say enough positive things about it -- I think it's the very best I could have hoped for at this price point.

Purchased this ceiling fan for use in the great room of our new home. This fan moves an extraordinary amount of air when needed, or just a whisper of air if that is what is wanted. And it is literally SILENT when running. The ONLY sound this fan makes is a clicking sound when you turn it on or off as the motor receives the remote controls signal.
