I just received my fuji 100-400 and it was a steal, 1200 us dollars no tax and free shipping, There wasn't any other choices in this zoom range as an adapter works but the lockups and hunting made it unusable. as far as build quality its durable, not same as canons 100-400 but none the less a good build, its optics compares to canons mkii version just in a lighter form factor. was pleased to find out its front end is 77mm as I have some left over from my canons. all in all am very happy with it, it focuses fast and is sharp at all zooms, it may not be as fast as canons in focus but its doing a fantastic job. Now with this lens I can get back to birding and planes. (air shows).

Ce téléobjectif est cher mais il justifie son prix. Superbement réalisé, il est idéal pour de la photo animalière. La mise au point est rapide, les photos magnifiques.Il est associé à un boitier Fuji X Pro2 et c'est parfait. Le Fuji X T2 avec son viseur dans l'axe de l'objectif serait peut être plus approprié mais j'aime tellement le viseur optique du Fuji X Pro2 monté avec un objectif XF 35mm f1,4 pour la photo de rue que j'ai dû choisir ce boitier.

Das Objektiv ist sehr stabil und gut verarbeitet. Das Gewicht ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Gott sei Dank ist eine drehbare Stativschelle verbaut. Alle Eistellringe lassen sich gut und wertig verstellen. Die Zoomverriegelung ist einpraktisches Feature. Schade, das sich am Blendering keine Blendenzahlen befinde. Ist aber verschmerzbar, kann man ja im Display/Sucher ablesen. Der Autofokus ist schnell und treffsicher. Die Naheinstellgrenze mit 150 cm finde ich ok. Unterstützt die Fluchtdistanz, z.B. von Schmetterlingen. Auch im Nahbereich ist der Autofokus flott und sitzt auf den Punkt. Die Bildqualität und auch das Bokeh sind top.
Bin bisher mit dem Objektiv sehr zufrieden. Gegenüber meinem bisherigen Fuji 55-230 ein echter Zugewinn.

La qualità di Fuji è indiscutibile e questo obiettivo ne è la riconferma, possiedo tutti i fissi Fuji è il primo zoom del mio corredo, altissima qualità anche questo, non sfigura minimamente con obiettivi blasonati anche più costosi, ottima stabilizzazione, possiedo la H1 e sulla medesima l'AF è bruciante, una scheggia, assolutamente consigliato, Amazon come sempre stupisce, pacco consegnato con un giorno di anticipo.

Excellent Fujinon Zoom

I had been looking forward to getting this lens and was keeping an eye on the price. I was frankly a bit surprised when I saw it advertised on Amazon at the cheapest price when I was ready to buy, but being a Prime member I saw this as a bit of a bonus. The lens arrived next day, Fuji lenses are well packed anyway, but the transit packing added by Amazon was very good too. The lens has been out a few times already (used with an XT-1) and the results have been outstanding. I like this lens very very much. Compared to the camera size (X-series) it is BIG, however it is light for its size and easy to handle. The 5 stop OIS is amazing and the focus ring and zoom are firm and effective. There is a barrel lock fitted which is good and clicks into place very nicely. Construction seems to be mainly 'plastic' with a metal collar (to cut the weight I suspect) and looks and feels robust and well finished. A large sunshade is provided which clicks into place solidly and can't be removed without pressing a release button. There is also a window provided within the sunshade to rotate filters etc. Excellent lens, highly recommended.

Apesar de no ser un 2.8 este objetivo consigue unos desenfoques de fondo excelentes. Si hay poca luz subimos ISO, que nuestras Fujis lo pueden, y santo remedio. La nitidez es excelente. Sólo hay que buscar imágenes en Instagram, por ejemplo, para ver de lo que hablo. Muy contenta con su adquisición!
