TellTale Games and Borderland Fans Buy This Now!

I'm a huge fan of From the Borderlands as well as TellTale Games and believe this is my favorite TellTale Games by far. It has a great story line and the characters are awesome. If you are familiar with TellTale Games, you will be used to the gameplay. If you are not familiar with TellTale Games, don't expect a run and gun type game. It is not a first person shooter. There is not a lot of combat as it is more about the answers given in character interaction. Don't let that steer you away though as this truly is an awesome game. You get invested in the characters and your choices do have consequences. Your emotions will definitely be tested and might even shed a tear or two. Don't be ashamed, that means the game was successful. If you like Tell Tale Games or From the Borderlands, you owe it to yourself to play this game....so stop reading and start buying. :)

This would have been a great game and addition to the Borderlands games if they had stuck to the Borderlands controls system. As is I found the controls bothersome, non-intuitive and distracting from the story.

As a big fan of Telltale games, I have to say, this one might be my favorite by them so far.
When it came out for the PS3, I didn't play it, as I hadn't played any borderlands games, and didn't even realize that this one was different. I discovered recently that it was telltale, and as a fan of the walking dead and wolf among us, I decided I should play it, and had great timing since I saw it was being released this month on PS4.
Pre-ordered it, it arrived on the release day, and I LOVE this game. The story is great, the characters are great. It's violent and hilarious. Just a very well made game, and as always, telltales art/animation style is stunning.

It's very entertaining, like all Telltale games.
There are dull moments, like all Telltale games.

It is definitely my favorite Telltale game, though. The opening cutscenes with music are awesome, they should've added more of that. Especially episode 2, it was so powerful...gave me goosebumps!

Note: If you are new to Telltale games, this is not your average game. It is dominated by story and decisions, not action. There are moments when you move around and/or tap buttons shown on screen in order to proceed. But for the most part, it is an "interactive movie" so to speak. Your decisions will heavily impact your story. Recommended if story is important to you.

I am a borderlands junkie. We will get that out of the way. I have completed, bl1, bl2 and the presequel. This was my last on the list. I avoided it because of the lack of controls and fighting. This is typically not my style of gaming. This game is fun and hilarious. Borderlands humor is raging thru this. I spent a weekend on it and I am officially ready for Borderlands 3. Ill probably play thru it a couple more times.

As A Borderlands Fan, I Really Had To Purchase This Game On Disk, As I Originally Completed All 5 Of The Episodes With A Playstation Plus Subscription. I Bought My Game New For PS4, And My Package Arrived Early And Came Safely And Securely Packaged With The Case Newly Sealed And Protected With Bubble Wrap. I Tested It On The PlayStation To See If It Worked Properly, And I Was Very Surprised To See It Had A Season Pass Already Purchased! ... Which Some Say Is Very Rare In Telltale Games I Guess? I Am Not Sure, But It Came With All 5 Episodes Ready To Play.

If You Have Ever Played Borderlands 2 And/Or Like The Feature To Choose How Your Story Goes, I Would Definitely Recommend This Game To You. The Storyline Is Great And I Absolutely Love The Work Telltale Puts In Their Games To Make Them Unique.

Have played all the Borderland games and love them. This was unexpecteed. I tried the demo when it came out and had a hard time with the controls and how it's played, but enough of my friends told me the story was worth it, when it went on sale I picked it up and tried again. It did take me 2 chapters to get the hang of it, and more than once I died just because I got distracted with the story and missed my cue.

It is a short game compared to most of the ones I play, but it was really good once I got into it and I will replay it since each choice you make, does make a difference.

Never has a game ever made me laugh out loud or bawl like a baby. This game had both effects on me. I am an avid fan of the borderlands series ever since the release of Borderlands in 2009. Gearbox has a niche of bringing world's to life and immersing players into their video games. With Gearbox's collaboration with telltale games, Tales From The Borderlands was destined to be among the greatest games released from either company. They did not fail on that front. Tales From The Borderlands is a thrilling story of revenge, trust, and true friendship. This game will leave you engrossed in a world full of tough decisions which alters the direction of the game. The story fits the way you want to play it and caters to your decisions. This game will make you laugh the entire way through and maybe like me, will make you cry just a little bit.

I got this game so I could finally get caught up on Borderlands story. Only problem is that it's almost a total opposite type of game to any of the other Borderlands games and their high octane action. I knew this going in but still felt like I was trudging through a lot of it.

Characters are cool, and the gravity of the choices you make give them a lot of weight.

Biggest drawbacks for me was the general awkwardness of character banter and interactions that seemed very... Stiff and unnatural. Sometimes scenes carry on way too long trying to build tension and it just feels like it drags. If you're bored after the first episode, just know the other 4 will take you upwards of an hour and a half each to complete, so maybe just watch the recap videos on YouTube and just play the final chapter.

I love the Borderlands franchise and am glad I got caught up on the important canon now, that this game introduced, but would just like people to know that this is a slow game that is all about story and not about action, so just know that going in.

This is a good game, but you have to know what you're buying. This is from Telltale Games. It's a choose your own adventure style game where you choose from different dialog options to move the story forward and affect what happens next. There are some "action" sequences where you have to time button presses to hit targets or perform various actions. It's definitely NOT a first person shooter. If you are normally a "shoot through everything as fast as possible and why is this story junk slowing me down type" of player, you will probably hate this.

For what it is, however, this is a great game. It looks great, has an awesome soundtrack, some humor, and a good storyline. Good for those who want to spend some more time hanging out on Pandora
