Es el complemento ideal para los amantes de la fotografía con smartphone. Buscaba un producto premium y lo cierto es que en cuanto al material metálico (aluminio) efectivamente se nota la calidad de la firma italiana.

No obstante, es en la goma donde encuentro problemas, pues no consigue que el agarre sea del todo óptimo. El smartphone queda sujeto pero no existe fijación, pues el dispositivo se desliza entre las gomas superior e inferior y no es un problema de adaptar la apertura de la pinza al dispositivo, sino más bien de adherencia de las gomas.

El sistema tipo twist es muy cómodo y facilita el transporte, convirtiéndolo en un accesorio sorprendentemente compacto. Sin embargo, una vez montado en trípode y con el dispositivo adaptado, no presenta demasiada estabilidad, la fijación parece algo floja en los extremos, especialmente en el inferior, donde monta el trípode.

En cualquier caso, hace su trabajo de forma aceptable y no hay riesgo de caída del dispositivo, simplemente no lo fija de forma absoluta, que es lo esperable en un producto premium de estas características, aunque se puede trabajar sin problemas.

Lo mejor:

- Es muy compacto y ligero.
- Se adapta a la inmensa mayoría de tamaños de smartphone.
- Incluye zapata para adaptar un flash auxiliar.

Lo mejorable:

- Adherencia de las gomas de sujección.
- El sistema tipo twist no acaba de ser estable del todo una vez montado.

Cool transforming design

Kindly given to me to review this isn't the first mobile holder I've used, but it's certainly the most premium!

Typically these holders tend to be plastic and a bit of an awkward shape to actually carry around or store. No such issue with the TwistGrip, it's smart design sees this collapsing down flat when not in use, making it easy to pop into a pocket or bag. The transformation is very smooth and it's rather an addictive action.

Mobiles are held in place via grippy pads and you need to manually lock the grips in place (see my review video for a demo of this).

There is a standard tripod thread allowing you to use this with all sorts of equipment, from mini or large tripods to C shape camera holders, and on top is a standard cold shoe mount that can be used for things like lights or microphones.

Pricey, but comes with the a quality build quality to match.

Praktisch, flach, macht satt "Klack!" beim Auf- und Zuklappen, zuverlässig, exzellent verarbeitet, hergestellt in Italien und nicht irgendwo im fernen Tiutiurlistan, durchdacht – so einem Etwas kann ich mein iPhone doch mal anvertrauen. Bei dem dünnen 6er iPhone mit seinen abgerundeten Kanten ist das Einbauen nicht so einfach, wie etwa bei dem alten guten 4s – aber dafür kann Manfrotto auch wenig. Immerhin halten die kleinen Mulden auch die Design-Kapriole von Apple sicher und zuverlässig; man muss die leicht federnden "Backen" beim Festziehen der Schraube nur etwas zusammendrücken.

Der Zubehörschuh hat eine Abdeckung, die beim ersten Abziehen ein Taschenmesser benötigt, so fest sitzt sie; hinterher wird es immer leichter bis hin zu "weg isse".

Sicher gibt es billigere Halterungen dieser Sorte, aber diese sollen für billigere Smartphones herhalten.

Zu bemängeln ist nur die Abdeckung des Blitzschuhes, die nach einer gewissen Zeit nicht mehr richtig hält.
Für den Preis von 50 Euro hätte ich mir eine Feder, die die Halterung zusammenzieht gewünscht. Für perfekten halt muss man immer die Halterung zusammenpressen und sie gleichzeitig zuschrauben, was in manchen Situation nicht ganz leicht fällt.
Trotz den negativen Punkten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Produkt und würde es allen weiterempfehlen.

This is a great product and genius design. However, no matter how tight you clamp the phone, it still wobble a little because of the 'twisting' mechanism. But it's secure so I am not too bother but it's more of the end experience from a user's point of view. I bought this for vblogging and put my iPhone on it and screw the whole unit on a tabletop tripod. The best thing is this clamp has a cold shoe slot at the top so I can mount other stuff on it like lights or mic or both!!

High quality metal finish and if it wasn't the wobble, I would have given it 5 stars. But like I said, it works and it's secure. Beautiful clamp :D

This small (just over 10cm long) but handy tripod mount from Manfrotto is perfect for on the fly mobile phone videography. You can fit the aluminum frame to a variety of phone (and some smaller tablets) and can screw it to any tripod with a standard mounting thread. The adjustable slider make is smooth and stays lock when tightened. The rubber grips on both the top and bottom of the mount will hold you device steady without damaging the device case and the twist hinge help the mount fold almost flat to store anywhere. My favorite bit of the twist grip is the cold shoe on the top, which is perfect for my Rode mic but you could substitute that for an extra spot lap if you needed.

The price is a little higher than other grips I've used in the past but I genuinely think that's due to the incredible build quality, it's a robust, bough piece of kit the will last no matter where you use it.

Die Halterung ist ein schönes Spielzeug, und sehr hochwertig.
Ich habe die Plastikhalterung für 9 Euro von Manfrotto mit der ich allerdings besser zurecht komme.
Bei dieser Halterung wird keine Federung verwendet, und das iPhone muss fest über die Klemme eingespannt werden.
Dazu muss die Klemme manuel fest zugedrückt werden während man die Stellschraube zudreht. Dies empfinde ich als etwas umständlich, und die Gefahr besteht dass das iPhone doch noch durchrutscht, da die Gummierung in der Halterung recht fest ist. Preislich ist diese Halterung für mich absolut überteuert.
