Da ich ein Resident Evil Fan bin hab ich mir extra auch eine VR Brille nur für dieses Spiel gekauft und ich muss sagen dass das sich mehr als nur gelohnt hat. Das Spiel unterhaltet richtig gut und ist mit Abstand das Beste VR Spiel dass ich besitze. Alle anderen VR Käufe die ich bisher getätigt habe kommen nicht einmal ansatzweise an den Spaß dran den mir dieses Spiel gebracht hat.

Resident Evil vuelve a sus orígenes después del truño de Resident Evil 6 y un pasable Re5. Sin lugar a dudas este Resident se acerca a los orígenes,aunque creo que nunca llegará al nivel de los primeros Resident (1 y 2) creo que es una muy buena compra además a un precio muy competitivo.

La historia del juego no es muy convincente, pero la jugabilidad es alta, y una vez pasado ahí alicientes para seguir haciéndolo. Buenos gráficos, a este precio 5 estrellas.

This is my thoughts on Resident evil 7 biohazard which I played on the PlayStation 4 system without the VR headset.

Synopsis:
First of all, for those new you do not need to have been invested in any of the previous Resident evil games to understand Resident evil 7 biohazard, as it is a completely new and independent story-arc delivered in a first-person perspective. You play as a new protagonist whose name is Ethan Winters, he is looking for his wife (Mia) who has mysteriously gone missing for 3 years. He finds out that she was kidnapped by the Bakers and goes to their home in Dulvey (Louisiana, USA). As soon as Ethan enters their residence, he is welcomed into the Baker family in a hideous, grotesque and most macabre manner. You have to now rescue yourself, and Mia, and survive the Baker's onslaught - who are trying to prevent you from escaping their home at all costs, and good Lord, the Baker family are relentless and not above using brutal tactics to stop you from escaping and rescuing Mia.

Atmosphere and gameplay:
The environmental settings in this game are beautiful, and well designed. The locations in this game are many - one example includes the starting points within the Baker's home which is the main hall and save room; however, as you progress further by solving puzzles and unlocking doors the environment expands significantly into their residence courtyards and farmhouses for more exploration. I found myself revisiting many areas for special items that were initially unreachable or to open a secret pathway with a special key etc, and so expect a lot of backtracking. The atmosphere in this game, especially in the Baker's home, is frightening. It feels oppressive when exploring the environments throughout the entire campaign. It definitely gave me this feeling of dread in a weird but brilliant way, especially, when encountering the human enemies, for example, with Jack Baker - he is foul mouthed that says oppressive things like "Ahh, your out of ammo, your f**ked now" while attacking you in a relentless way - the music playing in this messed-up situation makes the encounter even more heightened and tense. Jack's wife, Marguerite... all I can say is that she is one evil, wicked and vile enemy but her encounter is epic.

In terms of gameplay - the game truly encourages you to play defensively (i.e. outside of a boss fight). But these mechanics are easy to master though, I found the following defensive techniques to be effective: blocking enemy attacks while equipped with a weapon (does a lot of damage reduction), strafing round an enemy to dodge an incoming vertical attack and ducking to dodge an incoming high horizontal attack/swing. The game also encourages you to manage your inventory wisely to conserve as much ammunition and healing items because these resources are extremely limited throughout the game. You can craft these, however, note that the trickiest aspect of crafting is deciding which precious resource to craft (i.e. either ammunition or medicine). The game is littered with notes, files and videotapes which are essential to collect if you wish to understand the lore of the game. I high recommend to read the notes and files, and watch the videotapes because the story is implicitly told through these collectibles.

Replay value:
This game has a lot of replay value - just like the previous Resident evil games. There are three different levels of difficulty (i.e. easy, normal and madhouse) and there are a tonne of unlockable stuff (i.e. weapons and interesting buffs) which will require you to complete the game multiple times. I am playing the game a second time on Normal to know the environments and the enemy locations to prepare for the madhouse playthrough. Also, if you want to achieve the platinum trophy - you will certainly have to do a speed-run challenge for finishing the game in less than 4 hours, complete the game using only 3 healing items, and complete the game managing you items without using the storage box - these are extremely difficult challenges which adds to the game replayability.

Few negative points:
The loading screen times are sometimes long, lasting up to two minutes. Also, at times, the graphical texture of the environments tend to appear blurry, however, the game does autocorrect this - hopefully a patch will be released to fixed this issue. The annoying thing about this game is there's no option to change the keys on your control pad - I found running to be tedious because you have to hold down the left thumb stick (L3) while at the same time manoeuvring the left stick which at times gave me very clunky movement. Lastly, there is a lack of enemies - but its understandable and the enemies make sense due to the story plot but it would have been nicer to have more enemy diversity.

Recommendation:
I highly recommend Resident evil 7 biohazard to anyone new to the Resident evil series, and if this is your first time - I strongly urge you play the first Resident evil remastered version. If you are a veteran, then do not be deceived by fact that its in a first-person perspective - I highly recommend you play this game - its brilliant (its way better than the previous games that came after resident evil 4) and it goes back to the series' roots of survival horror.

I highly do not recommend this game to those who are easily disturbed by violence. This game is not for the squeamish because it is very gory and it contains scenes that are horrific and disgusting.

In conclusion, it is fun game to play, and just like the classic Resident evil games - the storytelling through environments and collectible items in this game have been told extremely well.

Premetto che sono un amante della serie resident evil. Questo titolo rispecchia esattamente ciò che stavo aspettando: ossia un horror decente per console di nuova generazione.
Tolti i vecchi titoli cult ossia resident evil 1/2/3 e silent hill 1/2 non si era più visto negli anni qualcosa di davvero valido...
Stavolta sono riusciti a far una piccola e riuscitissima rivoluzione della saga.
Il passaggio da terza a prima persona è servito per farvi vivere con più immedesimazione gli agghiaccianti scenari del gioco, i spaventosi di colpi di scena, e visioni varie.
La trama è semplice e ben riuscita; vi recherete in una villa abbandonata per cercar la fidanzata sparita tre anni prima.
Sembra fin da subito aver abbandonato la scia e la storia degli altri eventi narrati nei precedenti RE.
Una vera genialata di questo gioco: la presenza di videocassette e videoregistratori nella casa! Sono dei piccoli spoiler giocabili ed essenziali per risolvere enigmi e trabocchetti che affronterete più avanti nel gioco.
Insomma la serie dopo il tracollo dei vari RE 4 e 5 stavolta è assolutamente migliorata con un sacco di nuove idee e tanti nuovi spunti. Gioco super consigliato a tutti gli amanti del genere.

Je me rappel du premier résident evil sur la ps1 ou j'ai eu mes premières peur sur un jeu. Et la le retour de cette peur avec de l'angoisse. il est beau et vraiment bien fait. Je n'ai pas le casque mais sa doit être très immersif. Voilà n'hésitez pas à vous le prendre même si c'est à la première personne. Bon jeu et flipper bien ;)

Spedizione prime come sempre impeccabile. Confezione integra e sigillata. La grafica,la giocabilità, la suspence, il terrore,gli enigmi. Questo è in assoluto il miglior RE mai prodotto. Manca solo di provarlo con il vr e credo che me ne innamorerò ancora di più. Ovviamente prezzo eccellente e sopratutto italiano; solo la confezione è inglese. Averlo è un obbligo, amanti e non! Poi con le cuffie... vado subito a giocarci.

I am a big fan of the 1st 3 games and played them to death. I skipped 4,5 & 6 and went straight to Revelations 2. I was interested in this new title 7 but was skeptical about having human enemies in the game. I thought it sounded really boring and would not be scary. I was so very wrong I can’t even put it into words. Capcom has done a master Job in scaring the absolute pants off me. This game went way beyond my expectations and has become one of my top favorites now. I have completed it in 11 hours and am dying to play it through again.

Resident Evil 7 is the 1st in the series to be in FPP, which means everything is right in your face and it forces you to see everything through Ethan’s eyes, you cant hide (especially in VR). You actually have to look at what you shoot at because that is how you aim n VR. It is very intimate and personal, which makes it very scary. There are moments in this game that had me genuinely shocked and had me at a stand still with my jaw wide open.

The atmosphere is key to this game and really does a number on your senses. The lighting is very effective involving very much overhead lighting that creates a creepy as hell haunted house vib. This works really well with the surrounding noises, making you stop to consider your next move. It’s the type of game that even when nothing is happening you are still very much on edge (Like PT). You just never really know what to expect around the next corner or through the next door so you are constantly on edge. There are some parts that were so damn scary I had to pause it for a few mins before continuing.

The inventory is back so you have to manage your resources (ammo and health can be created now through chemical packs). You will find yourself juggling ideas of either bringing big weapons (they take up 2 slots) or lots of health etc. Sometimes its tricky but if you think ahead it can make the game much better. Sometimes its worth going back to a safe room (yes they are back too with the “safe music”) and just bring the bare minimum to the next area. Bets are there will be loads for you to pick up so exploring areas and rooms is a very smart way to play this game. I got an amazing feeling of the old games when I returned to old areas to open up a spacific door that I couldnt get into earlier. I really missed those elements of the game and it really brought me back.
This game is one to be enjoyed slowly on your first run through, explore all areas and get used to them because much of the ammo and health items are hidden very well (in plant pots and behind beams of wood/crates). Rushing through this game you will find yourself running out of ammo VERY fast. Not only will you miss on items to pick up but If you charge into an area (probably out of fear) you may also find yourself surrounded with enemies. These guys are no joke if you underestimate them so it is wise to take them on one at a time unless you have unlimited ammo. Head shots will save you ammo but they tend to fling their heads around a lot and they can block shots too. If you have a shotgun spare shells for close encounters, they will take their heads clean off.

Once you complete the game you are rewarded, there are also plenty of un-lockable treats when you get all the collectables and coins. The story is nicely tied up with a small surprise at the end though I was left slightly disappointed, I thought it would have been a little bit more. However I am still very happy with the story and want to go back to the start to see things from a different perspective.

This game has a very old feeling to it. Honestly it was like playing the 1st game in 1st person. Its creepy as hell, you never know what you will bump into when you turn the corner (I have literally ran into enemies this way). On your 1st play through you never feel safe, no matter how much ammo you have and I love that. Capcom have NAILED the atmosphere in this regardless of the 1st person and I am very happy that they truly brought back the horror aspect to Resident Evil again. They have earned back my respect and I am proud to have this game as part of my PS4 library.

For the best experience I would suggest playing this totally blind in VR or just on a TV with a bunch of friends. This game is a blast to play and is a worthy come back to the series.
UPDATE 11/12/17 - Purchased a VR headset and played this all the way through in 2 sittings WOW I cant put into words how incredible it is to walk around the Baker mansion in VR if you have the cash get this in VR it is 20 million times better then regular 2D screen. The reselusion is low but its a smooth ride around and I didnt get sick for a long time. Breaks are advised though you really wont want to.
Buy this game, its fantastic.

Spiel macht echt Spaß. Auch wenn es im VR-Modus nicht mehr so richtig zeitgemäß ist. Durch die hackende Grafik hab ich schnell "Motionsickness" bekommen, was bei neueren VR-Spielen nicht der Fall ist. Kann aber auch ohne VR-Brille gespielt werden. Inhaltlich erinnert mich der Teil wieder an die älteren Teile, welche mir besser gefallen haben als die neueren. Endlich wieder Rätsel, viele Komponenten zusammen sammeln und suchen und nicht nur Ballern. Stimmung des Spiels ist super, aber die Kitchen Demo (aus dem Store) hat auf jeden Fall bessere Grafik als das Spiel selbst. Zusätzliche Spielinhalte können/müssen noch extra im Store gekauft werden. Alles in allem aber ein lohnendes Horror-Spielerlebnis

Lo compré para estrenar la Playstation VR, y solo puedo decir que es la mejor experiencia con videojuegos que he tenido desde hace mucho tiempo (y he pasado por todas las Playstation, y PC desde hace 20 años). La calidad de vídeo no es la mejor comparado con un 1080p, pero la inmersión lo compensa con creces. Solo el hecho de experimentar el asomarte tras una esquina mientras te están buscando por la casa ya vale cada uno de los euros gastados en el juego...
