I bought two of these for Christmas gifts, and they're a nice useful gift. The magnet in these things is quite impressive. They stick on something and stay, or I guess magnet onto something.. much nicer than a little bowl or cup to put your little screws and nuts in and they won’t get knocked over and scattered. I also gave one to away to use with straight pins. They’re not little flimsy things, they have nice metal and nice magnets.

Good but BAD

This is a much needed tool for me. Very strong magnet, nice when working on projects. The biggest and actually only complaint, I tried to remove the sticker that covers the bottom, big mistake! What idiot would put that type of sticker on this? What was a shiny piece of chrome is now an ugly mess. I tried using industrial strength "Goof Off", it did not even budge the glue left behind by this sticker.

I like it feels well built. Only used a couple times so far but I stick it on the side of my tool box to save space. Also, I chose this one because other ones had that weird sticker on them about containing lead and being so hard to take off that sticker.. this one didn’t have that sticker

5 Stars The Label Can Be Removed!

This is an extremely strong magnet, would definitely recommend. I see that one of the complaints is that the label doesn't come off or leaves a residue if you can get it off. I never include pictures, but I wanted people to see that it can be done. There is a plastic overlay on the label. I peeled the plastic off and then soaked the paper label in vegetable oil overnight. The next morning I took my fingers and just rubbed it off. I will warn it takes a bit of work, but I ended up with a nice shiny magnetic bowl.

I just wanna say it works and has a more premium build then most magnetic trays and also has a nice dip in the middle to give it the more ease of use. So if you want a nice looking, trouble free magnetic tray. Then this one is for you. I also wanna start there is no nasty residue from a sticker. So that's always nice.

This is a useful product, at an excellent price, but for an inexplacable reason they have placed a super-adhesive sticker on it warning about the magnet’s risk to hard drives and cassettes. The warning is helpful, but why use a sticker that leaves such a sticky residue that it I had to buy an adhesive remover from Home Depot to remove it? This cost as much as the item itself! That said, I’m buying a couple more, now that I have the adhesive remover anyway and its a great product otherwisd.

There is a large magnet on the bottom and the dish can easily attach to a compatible metal surface and/or compatible metal screws/objects stay put in the dish while you are working. I originally bought this as a “nice to have” item -but found I use it a lot for all kinds of projects (woodworking to crafts to sewing). Love it!!
