I love these HEADPHONES

I love these headphones... I cant say it enough. I actually won these at my work and I cant say I am displeased at all. They fit my ear perfect there is no falling out or trying to place it differently to make it stay. They are sweat resistance so I can work out and run with them and not worry about them becoming damaged. I love that they last for 12 hours so I can leave my house without a charger or worry about them dying. The sound is clear and comes through REALLY good. Over all like other reviews if you want to spend the money its a good addition to your phone and or music device. The price is a bit steep but well worth the money.

Randomly Stop Working - Unreliable

I have been through several pairs of these Beats because they just randomly stop working. After the one year warranty they want you to pay like $99 to have them fixed or replaced. The sound quality is great but they are trash. Apple knows about this and does nothing to fix it. Check all the online forums to see all the issues people are having. Within 3 uses the mic and controls went out and then after 5 uses they just died. It seems like they die after a moderate workout with sweat involved. I have to place them in a bowl of rice to get the moisture out before they turn on again. How bizarre is that!? These are definitely not headphones made for a workout enthusiast.

I’m not one to usually write a review, but I saw all of these negative reviews and I figured I have to say something. First off, these beats are amazing. The sound quality is amazing, and these things are a must have! The ear hooks make sure they don’t fall out, so don’t worry about losing them. These things have got great battery life for the size, and never get in the way! Just make sure the cord that connects them doesn’t get tangled, and you are all set! Great job by beats! Another great product!

I've been buying PowerBeats for several years and have always liked the noise cancellation feature and sound quality, but the parts aren't always the best quality, so I end up having to replace them every 9-10 months. The last pair I bought which I've had for a little over 9 months, one of the rubber ear handles just snapped right off without any trauma and stress to cause it to break. For the price, I think the quality should be better and last longer.

I purchased these headphones for my morning run with my dog around the pond near our house. My previous headphones the wire would always keep flopping against my chest for the whole run and while this was a small annoyance, I found that these wireless headphones with the A-1 chip, are great, no flopping, easy to stay in your ears with the clip that runs around the back of your ear, and they have different sized in ear parts to them, I have big ears, 6'-3" and 210 lbs, so the large in ear part helped the sound for these headphones work even better. my only criticism is that the headphones dont seem to have an automatic shutoff feature, I could be wrong, I haven't used them long enough to really be thorough, but it seems like you need to remember to shut them off when you are done with them or it will drain the battery.

the battery does work really great, I have been able to use them for a week +, usually 40 minutes per day of use, and have had them hold up well. looking forward to continuing to use these, also they take phone calls if someone calls you while you are out running/ walking, another nice feature.

I have had multiple different brands of wireless earbuds over the span of the last 3 years and I've had to keep buying more because I use them on a daily basis at work and eventually one earbud will stop working entirely, and then I'd have to order another pair. So I finally broke down and decided to pay the extra money for these powerbeats, and I'm so glad I did, I've had them for going on 2 years now and I've used them 5 days a week for 10 hours a day and they still work and look just as great as the day I bought them. I'm very happy with these and if your having the same issue I was, and your looking to get a great pair of earbuds that will last you a very long time, these are the right ones!

Affordable, but lackluster

For the money, I found these headphones to be relatively comfortable and stable--even when running. However, the cords and the lack of a snug fit--despite trying on five different sets of plugs--meant that these weren't great for weightlifting. The sound quality is pretty good, but only when the ear tips seal properly, which is not very often. They're fine for exercising with, but I certainly wouldn't recommend them for every day use, as there are better options available. I'd say that the sound quality for these is ultimately going to depend on who's wearing them, and how well the ear buds fit.

I have kind of a love/hate relationship with these headphones over the time I've owned them. The hate portion is because I find myself constantly nitpicking the overall tone of these. It's not bad, just typical Beats tuning that is different than I'd rather hear. All that being said, the comfort, convenience, and overall functionality of these headphones make them the first ones I reach for every time. Overall, I love these so much that I spend enough time listening to them that I can find the time to nitpick the sound part.

Solid wireless

Ok I ordered two of them from Amazon and tested them out for our runs. I had a lack of bass and volume but my wife had no problem with hers. I decided to return my pair and get some bose or something similar. I love the meaty bass sound. So before I did that I tried out the sizes of ear buds that came with it and found out I had a bigger ear canal and upon changing it to fit my ear was blown away by sound. Also if you have Apple products you can change the EQ to the different default sounds they have IE acoustic, metal, dance and a lot more. I bought these for 179.00 lol but the prices jump up and down and make sure to get these when they drop to 129. I think it worth it plus get extended warrenty for 11 bucks!? You can't beat it. So you have 1 month from Amazon to exchange in case of defects, 1 year from Apple for tech support and parts then 4 years from an insurance company that will replace or fix your pair.
Over all I give them a 4 star
Sound 7/10
Wireless 7/10 I went outside my house to cut my grass and was still connected but lost sound in and out sometimes but still good.
The W1 chip is convenient in connecting to Apple products, I literally opened the box and held the connect button for 2 seconds and boom they were synced.

The obvious down side is the price point.

I had a previous pair of the Power Beats 2 and tried the cheaper Plantronic Backbeat Fit (waterproof) and returned them within a week due to skipping when in use with my Apple Watch. I never had an issue with Power Beats 2 skipping and thus far have had no issues with Power Beats 3.

The major change for the Power Beats 3 is the improved fit. They definitely have a better fit into the ear and are much more stable than the Power Beats 2. One other change is that the charging "flap" is gone and now exposed - which, does worry me a little as my first pair of Power Beats 2 had sweat intrusion and shorted out - but no worries, they were covered under warranty and the Apple Store replaced them with just my Amazon receipt.

The bass does feel a bit deeper but overall I'd say the sound quality is the same. The extended charge (12 hours) is real and a huge plus.

Once again, the only downside is the price, which is significantly higher than the competition. For me, it's worth the price to not worry about skipping and having an Apple Store down the road in case there are issues or a replacement is needed.
