We bought this game for my daughter for Christmas (she is 11, and loves to cook). This turned out to be so fun, that we went out and bought more PS4 controllers, the day after Christmas, so we could ALL play. Very fast paced game, but sometimes I get a little overly competitive. :/ It can bring out the "ugly" in you, if your team-mate isn't pulling their weight. This game forces you to come up with different strategies until you find one that works. TEAMWORK. We love it. I highly recommend! A game that has no violence, no bad language, no sensuality/nudity, is a wonderful breath of fresh air. As you progress through the game, it gets more difficult with different scenarios (making food in the dark, frying fish and chips on ice, having to use a flashlight,) so it is quite challenging.

Lots of different levels. Fun to play with others. But, not much staying power. Others may disagree, but the game is challenging enough without sections that disconnect, rodents stealing the food, and silly layouts. I'm not a game maker, but I would have preferred to have had an ever increasingly menu complexity with additional ingredients. That would have gave us the feeling of becoming better chefs

This game is great!! My kids love it and so do my husband and I! My 4 kids range from age 6 to 14 and they all love it! Great for all age groups! It does get pretty challenging as the game progresses, but my 6 year old still loves it and so does my 39 year old husband! It's definitely a group game that takes A LOT of team work!! You can play it alone but it's not nearly as much fun with just one person. Get ready for some yelling and friendly arguing though as this game can really test your limits! Super fun and I 100% recommend buying this game!

I was looking for a good 2-4 player game for the family...and for when friends come together...and found this hidden gem. Wow. This game is among the very best co-op games I've played. This game is all about multitasking and communication throughout. Whereas most games these days are complex and overly detailed, this one draws from the good ol' days of arcade fun. My wife generally does not play video games but is now addicted. She has quit her job, the house is a mess, no real food is being made...but she has become an amazing video game chef. All jokes aside, this is a good one. Don't miss out because it's not a $60 featured release. Great great game! 😃

It can be hard to find games that I can play with all three kids at once (not that they don't exist, I have several), but this is a wonderful example of one that both allows four players and keeps them totally engaged. Hearing their personalities come out in their approaches to the game ('guys, we need a strategy!' 'strategy talk is boring, let's just play!') is an extra treat, of course. The goals to pass each stage vary by the number of players, so the challenge scales well, and there's good replayability - they keep going back to some of the harder levels to get that third star. The excitement and high-fiving when they finally get it are a delight to watch.

My kids are 14, 12, and 6. We played it for the first time tonight for several hours. We had to quit because it was getting late. I think this is the first game I've found that we can all play together and have fun. It was really enjoyable to fail at a level and hear my kids, who normally get along like cats and dogs, work out a strategy to improve. I only wish they worked together this way in the real kitchen! We all seemed to take on certain rolls. I was the cook, my older son the chopper, my daughter handled customer service, and my 6 year old son was the dish washer. Now the levels are getting more challenging and forcing us to be more flexible.

Fantastic game. I had the original as digital download on PS4 and absolutely loved playing it. If you have at least three other people to play with it's a blast. Many hours were spent yelling at each other, putting out fires, trying not to burn the food, and get it out in time to make some money. My only complaint would be the difficulty. With four people we were able to beat the game and it was a blast but less than that felt like it wasn't be beaten (without scraping by). This could be my skill level but would recommend this for four people at once. Also being able to play in the same room with everyone and have some drinks is a blast.

Chop chop chop chop chop chop....This game is so awesome for groups. It takes literally 30 seconds to explain how to play and so people can jump in quickly.

Be warned though, since it is all team based you'll likely start to see people's personalities come through and you may encounter one or more of the following:

1. "If only everyone would listen to me" - Barks out commands during, blames after failure.
2. Scatterbrain - Doesn't stick to one task, forgets any assignments, might see them running back and forth not actually accomplishing anything.
3. "I only want to do this one thing" - Will chop so many onions that every surface has chopped onions on it, but you only need mushrooms for the current soup order.
