My house has no heating and the wood fireplace takes a while to warm the house in the winter after I have been away. This was an amazing addition to my house and has had heavy use since I got it. I have zero complaints!

It doubles nicely as a white noise machine on high and can go from low noise to almost completely silent in other modes. The focused heating zones are amazing as I can target my feet or my torso/face when on the couch. Great when laying in my more elevated bed too! I can set it on the floor and the heat can go from the ground up to me without trouble and you can really feel the warmth. Does great to heat up one (~12ft x 12ft) room as well and can manage it pretty quickly considering the size of the unit. If you need a heater, I highly advise giving this one a try!

The only downside is you can't turn off the display at night depending on the mode. When needed I just throw a small washcloth sized piece of fabric over it and problem solved!

Very high quality room heater. Doesn't give off a smell at all like some heaters do. It's approximately 15"H×8"W and doesn't take up much room. Although not very big it is very powerful. You can adjust the temperature to what you want the room to be and it will keep your room at that temperature. It is not noisy at all yet throws off a lot of heat. Very safe unit does not get hot at all. Great buy for the price.

My roommate has issues with the central heater downstairs, so we just keep it off. But that drops her room into the upper 50s during the winter. I had bought a portable AC unit that has a heater on it, but it was too much trouble. However, I found out this device was all we needed. The heat output is amazing, and it keeps the room very cozy while the rest of the downstairs is freezing. Already bought a second unit to use elsewhere.

This seems to be a GREAT little unit... (so far)! I just got it today and have only ran it a few minutes... because it's 80deg. in here lol.. But THIS is the time to get heaters - preparing for what's coming in the next 3-4 months, because by then stock supplies will be RAVAGED!! You'll be stuck grabbing the last mangled box off the shelf from WalMart lol.

Anyway, I DO like the varied heat selections available - You can even specify it to use a heater that aims at the floor, or one that aims more upwards, or activate them both simultaneously (never saw that before). The heat output is GOOD, but I saw reviews online where people complained about it. Well damn, how HOT do you want it?? 🙄 There's 2 fans in here which DO NOT give a heavy airflow, which - again - is OK with me. I CAN feel the air coming out... I don't need it to blow like my summer fan, and I don't think you'll find one that does. People gotta keep in mind, these little (PLASTIC) heaters ARE NOT designed to warm up your whole cabin, basement or garage. I personally just wanted something to give an INSTANT HEAT BLAST in my cold room after work. Then once it's a little comfy after 10-15min, shut it off and switch to my (Pelonis) OIL HEATER which takes about 10 minutes to warm up, but which WILL eventually warm up my entire room (Maybe in an 1-2 hours for my 10x15 room with 10ft ceilings. That's OK for me though, plus I NEVER take it off "Economy" mode @ 60-75deg. I don't need a $200 electric bill. I can also speed up heating with my summer fan and be warm in about 45min).

The BEST way to use those is with a Med-sized fan in the room (aimed at the ceiling) - or preferably a CEILING fan, because that's where all your heat is sitting. If you turn the fan on low, then after a few minutes it will mix & circulate all the freezing air on the floor with the HOT air on top and BAM -NICE TOASTY ROOM! 🤗

USAGE
Now if you're in a (GUARD SHACK) or (FISHING CABIN) or something like that, ((THIS IS NOT FOR THAT)) - I repeat - IT'S PLASTIC!!!! For the people who need that seriously "HEAVY DUTY HEAT" - I would advise looking for (ALL-METAL ELECTRIC HEATERS) - You gotta actually type that into your search to find em - or (CLOSED VENT PROPANE HEATERS). Some of those can get TOO HOT TO TOUCH and must be used with (((EXTREME CAUTION))) - some even generate REAL FIRE inside and that's where your heat comes from. They can even burn up all the oxygen in the room while you're asleep, and you REALLY WILL get a "good rest" then. ☠️

So be careful what you ask for - and even MORE careful what you buy and go to sleep next to.

ADVICE
OH - BY THE WAY... If you need "HELL-HEAT", also look into those BIG PARABOLIC CERAMIC HEATERS!! Those things will COOK YOU from across a room lol - which again... causes other problems! On my old one - the metal grate over the front got SO HOT that the metal started to melt the PLASTIC it was bolted to on the sides. I also had a little metal "Delonghi" heater (similar to this Honeywell - which this Honeywell is replacing). The metal shell on Delonghi was GREAT... BUT - The knobs ON TOP were plastic. The heat weakened the plastic enough that the power knob just SNAPPED OFF one day when I turned it on. The metal-post it was mounted on was too hot to touch. I prefer ALL DIGITAL now - which this Honeywell IS!

WHAT IT'S MISSING...
I DO wish it had a remote tho - which is why I dropped 1 star from it. Now I gotta turn on a light and get up close to see what I'm pressing. 🙄 (Granted... These ARE 1st World problems) - but still... A remote woulda been great!

DURABILITY
I doubt this lil guy I just unboxed would last long if I tried to run it at full blast for 6-8hrs a day! I'll probably only be running this for 10-15 minutes per day.. (mostly in winter months). I don't know of ANYTHING that can run full blast 6-8hrs a day - not a car - not a heater - not a high-end computer... NOTHING! Not even a HUMAN working 2 or 3 jobs. Eventually something is gonna (POP) - and it's a wrap! lol..

SAFETY
It DOES have a built-in "tip-sensor", but it doesn't have a SWITCH OR BUTTON underneath it. Apparently it's just some kind of internal sensor that shuts it off once the tilt reaches about 35-45deg. When it's upright again it becomes useable again. It's pretty low to the floor - only about 2 feet tall. That's fine if you wanan switch it to "floor" mode and warm up your feet, but I don't need it for that. I plan on getting 15" tall stand and just set it beside me; I'll be able to see the buttons easier that way also since it doesn't have a remote.
You gotta find what works for you - but at least this lil guys gives you lots of options. Also, it doesn't oscillate, but I didn't want one that did. With a summer-fan circulating the air, you don't need that and it doesn't really help anything anyway - That's just one more motor to go bad in a year! 😮‍💨

If this thing conks out on me in a few weeks/months tho I'll do an UPDATE on here.✌️😎 Hope this helped some folks!

Pricey but worth every penny

I bought this in 2022, and still runs today. I use it on my semitruck to keep warm during the winter months(I run a generator instead of running the engine when shut down) Has been tossed around fallen over, etc. Every function still works, including temp sensing.
Keeps my cab warm until it hits about 0 degrees and windy outside. Cabs are not sealed and is no fault of the heater, just performs very well.

I am so happy to have found this heater. My cats are now living in a kids playhouse outside compared to the many years indoors. I was concerned of the 20 degree weather inside it. Their water would freeze , it would be so cold in there. This heater on the low of 60 degrees even warms the little house with a window open. It gets it so warm that I need some moisture to circulate. I love that it shuts off once it reaches the temperature. It hasn't overheated, it’s quiet even without quiet mode, no smells. The exterior doesn’t get hot to the touch. Safety shut off when moved. The two hour choice is great as well for when I didn’t need for the whole day, but just the chilly morning. This gets it through the few hours that the temperature outside is still cool. I had a few nights to test it because I am leaving it on throughout the night with them stuck inside. I enjoy going inside their tiny house with them during the winter because it’s even cozier than my house. You don’t need to look any further for a great heater.

I bought and returned two other heaters because they did not make a dent on the temperature of the room I needed to warm up. Third time is definitely a charm! This little heater packs a punch and warms my always-cold 13'x16' family room in no time. I did not know I needed the quiet mode until I started using it during Zoom meetings. I love it! At first I didn't understand the timer mode since I can't set it for a specific time, but it has grown on me over time. I have not used the floor heater yet, but other reviewers love it tons, so I'll go with what they say since I really like this heater. Anyway, after trying a few heaters for my small family room, this is the one to keep.

Update after two months of use: I still love this heater and I'm glad I purchased it, but I am not sure about the claims that it saves money on utility bills. While it is true that I can keep my furnace at a lower temperature and save money on my gas bill, my electric bill has gone up by about the same amount I am saving on gas. I knew the electric bill would go up by adding a space heater to the mix, but I did not expect it to be so much higher, as in it has doubled from what I normally pay in the winter. I don't even have it running all that long, and my electric bill still doubled. Having said that, I still like this heater a lot. Just beware of the claims that it saves money. It just transfers the energy cost from one source to another.

Set to the temp you want

My other space heater is also a honeywell. Use it gor smaller spaces and turn it up if you want to. You will have to turn it off you are so warm. I often use instead of radiator/in wall heat because I can get the heat where I want it. My 500 foot space is too large but smaller bedroom and bath area is perfect for toasty warm. At first I was keeping the heat too low. I do not think I realized it was pretty much set at 66. Set it high, use it for a while and turn it off.
