Finally a Dick Tracy watch that is for real

This watch is really great. I find receiving email messages and texts to be super handy. I like be able to check the weather, activate the stop watch and alarm, making payments with the watch, the good fitness apps, requesting a Lyft vehicle, and even surfing the web in a pinch via the WatchWeb app, etc, etc. I was super skeptical about this smart watch but for me it is useful and enhances my life. Is the watch absolutely necessary? I say no but does the watch enhance the apple user experience and convenience? Then I say yes. I definitely enjoy wearing and using this watch. I would not recommend this watch for those who need something extremely rugged or for people who wish to be tech minimalists. Coming from a multiplicity of android devices my overall experience with apple and IOS has been excellent. I enjoy and respect both platforms. However, I only recommend this watch if you already have a compatible apple phone as the phone acts as the base powerhouse for the watch. Also the learning curve is fairly fast and try not to get frustrated as there are many videos and reading materials online to assist you in optimizing the watch to meet your needs and wants.

Arsthetically looks bad!

Don’t get me wrong, I always buy on amazon refurbushed and used gadgets. And I had a brand new apple watch too. But this is the first time i will give a 2-3 stars. Here’s why:
✅ Comes with the generic box (totally fine)
❌ Only comes with the magnetic charger (No plugs included 🔌, although plugs are really not included even on brandnew watches, I would appreciate having even a replacement plugs) magnetic charger was literally scratched up.
❌ Opening the package, the watch has alot of scratches. (The ad says its used and has some scratches. But this specific watch looks abused. 😞) I own a 2 year old apple watch but only has 1 scratch and 1 ding. Just refer to the photos I attached.
❌ Crown works well, but looks terrible.
✅ Only comes with a S/M strap. M/L extra strap not included so don’t expect it. (Fine for me because I only need this strap.
⚠️Performance wise, I have it for a day and the apps works fine,
⚠️battery still working (Although its more easy to be drained compared to my other apple watch 1)
✅ No linked apple ID/iCloud which is perfect
✅Delivery came on-time

So overall, am I satisfied? No, because I could just pre-ordered an apple watch series 1 on walmart for 149dls+Tax and wait. Physical look of the item is disappointing 😞

I purchased this watch in January '18 and have been very pleased with the performance! I wanted a watch that would more accurately track my workouts, as the FitBit I had for a month prior seemed to heavily overestimate my caloric burn. The design is very sleek and the band still looks great after 3 solid months of everyday wear. The only issue I experienced is that after I set it all up and followed the steps to download the app on my iPhone the watch didn't seem to register anything - heart rate, caloric burn during a workout, steps etc. I restored the original settings after doing a bit of research online and started the setup process over again and this fixed the issue. No other issues since! I would recommend this watch to anyone that is looking to stay connected and track their workouts!

I wanted an Apple Watch for a long time and this was just the right price for me, it is working great and it looks good, to my surprise when I ordered it, it was even on sale for a lower price then advertise. they give you a number to call if you need help setting up your watch but if you have a IPhone you can use your IPhone to set it up which took abut 2hrs because the watch had to do a upgrade but after the upgrade and down loads of my apps. I was up and running and wearing my watch with a big smile. I must add that my granddaughter insisted on setting up my watch for me using my IPhone 8 plus. she had no problem. LOL, Love it

I am in love with this watch! I had originally gotten a fitbit, because it was cheaper and their costumer service said that it would connect with my iTunes on my MacBook. It did not so I returned it and got the Apple Watch. I love it and it works perfectly!

Purchased this from CousinJay (3rd party) for way less than the Prime price; was a little concerned, but got exactly what was advertised: brand new, USA model, factory sealed in the original box with charger and extra band, series 1 38mm Space Gray. Confirmed it is under warranty through Apple for the standard year starting when I registered it to my Apple id (was not used/repackaged/refurbished).

To be clear, this is the series 1 watch. Not the original, and not the series 2. This one has the same processor as the series 2, so speed and battery life are both excellent, but it's not waterproof to 50m and doesn't have onboard GPS (neither of which I care about; it's still ipx7 certified so can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes, and my phone has GPS.)

Shipped fast, great experience with this seller.

The 38mm fits well under a dress shirt cuff which is my situation 4 days a week, and is less conspicuous than the larger 42mm size IMO. If you have issues with gigantic fingers then go for the larger one, otherwise there's no reason. I haven't managed to get the battery below 40%, 17 hour days with a 30 minute run over lunch utilizing full heart rate monitoring.

I was a bit hesitant at first, as I am with all my purchases, but this watch met my expectations and then some.
The battery life is pretty good, of course drains more the more you use it.
Not too many watch faces to choose from, but I’m glad you can put your pictures as a background as well. Still good options. Just not many.
Have had it for a while and still haven’t needed to replace the band.
Very helpful with daily activities and keeping up with my health issues.

I have always loved gadgets, so I have wanted to get an Apple watch since Apple announced they were coming out with one. The price held me back, though, and I always questioned whether I'd get much use out of it. After they lowered the price last fall, I finally decided to take the plunge. It only arrived yesterday, but I am very impressed so far. I love how you can customize the watch faces, check messages and notifications and even do simple things like say "Hey, Siri, set a timer for 20 minutes." It responds quickly and smoothly, and I find the visibility is fine on the 38mm without looking clunky on my wrist. The band is very comfortable, but I'm looking forward to being able to switch it out for some dressier bands that I ordered on Amazon. I think I will really enjoy having this watch.

Gets the job done; short on battery life

Bought two of these in '18, and they worked great for what I needed them to do. I get calls while driving to college or home and being able to talk on my watch is great. It allows me to answer the person and stay focused on the road. However, after two years of use the battery life is abysmal. It used to last me a week on one charge from just wearing it regularly. Now, I'd be lucky if I get to use it for the whole day on one charge. If you are able to, consider getting the later ones, if not this watch works well, but the battery life is not the best.
