5.0 out of 5 starsSturdy!

This mousepad provided a flat surface on my not so flat "desk" (warped plastic table) to keep the mouse sensor close enough to function properly.

It has a large surface area and rubber feet to prevent sliding.

It is two-sided, one side is a smooth finish and the other is a slight bit more coarse. Both sides feel nice. However, I have not used the more coarse side for any extended period of time so can't speak on the comfort during a long session sliding around on it repeatedly.

In my opinion, it is a little overkill for a mouse pad. At what appears to be around 1/8th of an inch thick slice of Aluminum, this thing has very little flex.

The only partially bad thing I can think of would be the "sharp" edges where my wrist rests becomes unpleasant after a little while, not unbearable though.

I give it a strong recommendation for anyone needing something to provide a flat surface on their "desk".

3.0 out of 5 starsFairly uncomfortable
Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2019
The MM400 is big and sturdy, and the hard-top surface is adhered to a non-slip rubber base so it stays put well. The quality of the material seems good but the surface texture is rough to the touch. Much more so than I expected. So much so that using it is a less than comfortable experience on your hand/wrist. My previous hard mouse pad was a smoother PVC material so this will take some time to get used to. The edges are also pretty rough, so your arm might notice that if happen to get near the edge. That issue was solved with a bit of 200 and 400 grit sandpaper, but the surface itself is just something I'll have to deal with. Despite it being rough to the touch, it's still a very low friction experience with the mouse, though I worry that with extended use, the surface contact with the mouse feet will cause them to wear prematurely.

5.0 out of 5 stars The hype is real (9~ months of use, and going strong)
Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2019

There was quite a bit of hype around this mousepad which I was sure wouldn't be able to be met; but, honestly, it really is that good.
I haven't tried any other hard mousepads -- so I can't compare it to anything, but compared to soft mousepads this is really a big step up.

Things I like:
- You don't have to *clean* it in the traditional sense. It is not a hours long process of cleaning it with microfiber cloth, and then waiting for it to dry like with traditional pads -- but rather you just wipe off any dust that builds and you are good to go.

- The hard surface definitely removes my biggest gripes with traditional mousepads, and thats that some parts of normal mousepads will wear down at different rates -- causing different "sensitivities" across the pad. This just isn't really a problem with this mousepad.

Things I dont like about:
There is only 1, and it's not even the mousepads fault so I am not reducing a start. Current gaming mice are not built with hard surfaces in mind. I have the Razer Deathadder Elite, and theres been one issue. The plastic coating on the bottom of the mousepad hasn't been playing *too* nicely with the mouse. Maybe it's how I've been cleaning it, but I imagine the mouse won't last as long as it would have on a traditional mousepad. I'm thinking of getting a corsair mouse since I imagine they would have tested it on this mousepad for quality control, but it's really not that big of a deal.

This one complaint is *really* small -- I almost didn't mention it. This mousepad is great. I've gotten a few friends to buy them. 10/10

I never thought there would be much of a difference in mouse pads but I was definitely wrong. This is a nice sturdy material with what feels like plastic on the top with a nice rubber material on the bottom. It doesn't move on my wood desk. When I put my mouse on the pad It felt so much easier to move, almost friction-less. I love the logo on the bottom. Fits nicely with my Corsair keyboard and mouse. Though I should have gone with the small version of the MMX00 model. I got the MM400 (Medium) which is pretty much the size of the front of a cereal box, no exaggeration here guys. I thought I did the measurement right but obviously not ha. It's no problem I just put the excess under my keyboard, its thin so it doesn't feel weird. I'm happy with the purchase!
Being in AZ dust collects quickly and my 3 year old keyboard looks very dirty so please no judging ;) Look at how big it is though.

It's pretty good, I love the look of it and the large size. I also love the thin, rigid, metallic construction.

The only thing I don't love is that small particles of ANYTHING can make your mouse jam like a skateboard hitting a rock. Broke my wrist 3 times, my hand actually snapped all the way off one time and had to be surgically re-attached. Okay fine the last part didn't happen. If your computer is set up in a labratory-style dust free room it won't be an issue, but chances are you will be constantly wiping it off to remove obstructions. Heaven forbid something gummy gets on it.

Another nice feature is being able to use either side. It has a smooth side and a slightly textured side. I kind of liked the textured side, but my debris-snagging issue was worse on the texture. Overall it's a good mousepad, and I would still recommend it. The lack of fabric means that if you clean it, it will basically last forever. Works well with my Corsair M65, would probably self-destruct if a Razer touched it (as well it should).

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect mousepad for on the go - gaming on the couch or in a chair
Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2018

Short Answer: Absolutely perfect mousepad on the go. Very high quality.

I am PC gamer. I having a gaming desktop and laptop. I bought this specifically to use with my gaming laptop while gaming on the couch or in a chair. I needed a hard, non-flexible, flat surface to allow my mouse to track accurately. This was the perfect answer for me. There is not too much to say about it. There are two sides - one a little rough with more friction/resistance and one very smooth. I actually prefer to use the rougher side face up because the smooth side has so little friction that my mouse goes sliding all over the place if I take my hand off of it for a second. This thing does not feel like it will bend easy, but I haven't tested that out. Its very thin as well so its very easy to throw in a laptop sleeve or in a laptop backpack and take it with you. It has four rubber feet at the corners, which help it stay in place when using it. If you want a mobile mousepad that will provide a hard flat surface on the go then get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Corsair MM600 Dual-Sided Aluminum Mouse Pad
Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2017

Like hard mouse pads? You've found the best one. Textured and smooth side both track perfectly on my G502 (and G303 + MX15) optical mouse. Texture hasn't worn a bit, smooth side is, needless to say, smooth but not too slick; size is perfect for low and high-dpi players alike, and construction is durable. You'll have to TRY to deform/wear this one down.

If I were to state a single con, and only because nothing is without its faults, it's that the rubberized corners could be better. I find that in the most-vigorous of mice movements the pad WILL move a bit; but, even then, it's only about a quarter of an inch - half inch at most. Corsair could have lined all four sides with the rubber material and/or added a grippy texture to the rubber itself.

Overall it's great and I'm happy with my purchase. If you're like me: used a hard mat the majority of your computing life, found material pads to have obnoxious drag + movement-speed inconsistencies, and simply prefer a more raw-input feel to mouse control; you'll likely appreciate this product also.

My old mouse pad was really worn out. It was just a regular, soft spongy- like pad that was rolling up and peeling on the sides and corners. I didn't want to have to be bothered again with another mouse pad like that, so I was really happy to find this one!
It has rubber pads on each side at the corners, so no matter which side you use, it stays put! It is sturdy, I could sit it in my lap if I wanted to, and use it like that. It does an excellent job! I don't do any gaming, so for those of you like me, it can be use for regular use! I like the color. It just really looks professional!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mouse pad I've ever owned
Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019

A general purpose mouse pad doesn't need to be anything special, but those used for gaming are a different matter, they have to be exactly what the gamer is looking for as they are a vital link between the player and his PC. I like a hard pad rather than one made of fabric-covered foam, and I've gone through several by other makers which just didn't pan out, often because the plastic surface became scratched over time and caused too much drag. So far I've notice no such wear on this Corsair mouse pad after several months use. I love the size, I haven't been able to run my mouse off the edge yet which used to happen on smaller pads. The rubber feet keep this thing locked down, it doesn't move during gaming unlike some other pads I've tried. Being made of aluminum would make it possible to use this pad on the lap if for some reason someone wanted to do that. I prefer the rougher side over the smooth side, perhaps some forms of gaming would benefit from the smoother surface. I also like that the plastic surface isn't wearing down the feet on my new gaming mouse, if anything it seems to be polishing them. Keeping the pad clean helps with that too, it should be brushed off and occasionally washed to keep it free of dust and grit.

If this mouse pad stands up to long-term use and doesn't get scratched up like some other brands then it might be the last mouse pad I buy. So far I'm very happy with it and recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars YELLOW STRIPE
Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2019

Looks and feels well-made, allows smooth and consistent mouse travel. There's a nice balance to the way the surfaces feel under your mouse: they give you enough grip for aiming, but are still smooth enough for quick fluid movement.

This mousepad would be perfect except for the giant yellow stripe Corsair decided to put on it. If the mousepad were all-black it would have a clean, subtle style but NO, let's put a DORKY GIANT YELLOW STRIPE on it for no apparent reason. I'm kind of embarrassed to take this out at cybercafes and other public places I take my laptop to.

Corsair makes good, solid products, but they need to work on the aesthetics.

FWIW, I also hate the new iCue logo. It was cool having a little pirate ship on my taskbar. Now the logo is a garish round blob that's about as tasteful-looking as downtown Tokyo on a Saturday night. It's not only ugly, it says nothing about the app it stands for. You only know it's iCue because nothing else on your taskbar is that weird-looking. I think there might be a tiny letter in the center but I can't make it out. I get that Corsair is trying to make their products look hip and stylish, but gratuitous giant yellow stripes and enigmatic disco balls are decidely not the way to go about it.
