Really good if you're into competetive multiplayer games

Very fun multiplayer competetive game. I didn't think much of it when I initially purchased it (just based my purchase on reviews) but it really is a game where you can just jump in for 10 minutes, throw some ink at enemies and carry on with what you were doing before.

It's very well made with great controls (although missing vertical gyro movement... Ugh), really nice graphics and great mechanics. it's just fun.

There's also a single-player campaign for your offline time but really it's the online matches that give you the most satisfaction.

I like that it arrived sooner than promised but the problem I have is that it didn’t come with the plastic wrapping and booklet on the inside so obviously it is pre-owned. This copy shouldn’t have been sold to me.

- came without inner pamphlets
- no plastic sheeting you’d find in stores to let you know it’s a new copy
- game works like a charm, no hardware issues
-took ~5-10 minutes to download content to my switch

Splatoon 2 as a game
PROS:
- love the new weapons/clothing/maps
- new waifus super cute
- ‘Salmon Run’ was a great addition
- new league, above ranked playable games. Takes long time to unlock, but worth it

CONS:
- no splitscreen! Come on Nintendo!
- Switch now runs a paid online service just like other consoles. You pay to use your own internet just because!
-> can’t play with other people unless they have their own console WITHIN YOUR VICINITY!

- Campaign mode looks/feels just like that of the original Splatoon

INTERESTING:
- new characters are nice
- exp and money boost items, additional money earning incentive
- slow to level up, I personally see this as a plus
- kept the ability to draw and create tags
- no mini games when loading games
- DLC at ~$30 for the octoling expansion. Includes extra campaign and cosmetics I believe.

Its got a cute artstyle and very diverse amount of cosmetics to choose from. Theres also a great way inwhich the community can interact with one another.

Game play is very unique.

The only criticism i can think of is no ability to send direct messages to people ingame. Aswell as theres no way that i can find to bring weapons and cosmetics earned in the multiplayer mode to the singleplayer campaign.
Infact singleplayer feels very detached from the multiplayer which is a massive downer.
