While the game itself (Bayonetta 2) is on the card, Bayonetta 1 isn't and needs to be downloaded, sadly it won't let you unless you change your region to Europe on the Nintendo website and on you're switch itself. Once that is all done then it will let you download the game.
I have no problem now since I have both games now, but the seller needs to no sell this game AT ALL if it sells the copy in the U.S since maybe the average person won't know this.

first of all i bought this thinking it was a good deal which it is! but they don't tell you it doesn't work for usa region for the bayonetta 1 game! so the code is worthless! its region locked! only works for Europe! big gripe of that is this is being advertised for usa amazon! seller could not help me at all! I even contacted Nintendo and got the run around. I am not making this review to be mean but like your out a game and I do not want future people to make the same mistake or be mislead by this false advisement that I did.

Be sure to look at which seller you are buying from and the reviews for that seller
The game came sealed and yes was from european region
At first i thought code for bayo 1 didnt work but you have to go to your nintendo account settings online (not on switch itself) and change your region, log back in on switch, and code will be read. You can then change region back after the download. Nintendo has no intention of region locking games now but the purpose is for currency conversion.
This game is extremely hard to find new or used but at least this was sealed and still cheaper than getting digital only or the US posting on amazon (75$)
Well worth and very replayable and fun
As long as the code isnt already scratched off, you should be good

I bought Bayonetta 2 and didn't realize it came either a digital code for Bayonetta 1.

Bayonetta 2 was great.

Bayonetta 1, the digital download code doesn't work.

Llego bastante rapido y es igual a la publicacion vienen ambos juegos el 1 por descarga y el 2 en fisico lo unico malo es que hay que cambiar de region a UK para poder canjear el codigo del primer juego

Excelent, new, and we'll packed, I just follow the steps to redeem the code from UK, change my switch region to UK, put the code and then switch again the region to America. Bayonetta 1 is online download code and Bayonetta 2 on the card. Fun fact you can turn the cover to change the titles.

Yes it's imported, but it's still Bayonetta 1 code and Bayonetta 2 physically so who cares, get it!

This is a difficult game to find physically, and if you couldn't tell by the image thumbnail its an import from Europe. Yes this will work on your American switch, and yes it's brand-new and the Bayonetta 1 code works! In order to get it, simply switch region to Europe on the Nintendo website, claim your code, and then switch back. It'll work all the same. The Bayonetta franchise honestly looks great on switch. And with this being the price of the two games already, any one who likes physical games won't be disappointed with this import. Just don't be surprised when shipping takes time, but it'll be well worth the wait.👍

I originally played this game on the Wii U, and felt like I was missing out on it not being on the Switch. Once I heard it was released, I JUMPED on the opportunity to buy it. Bayonetta never fails to deliver on its promises of being a fun, exciting, and beautiful game to pour your hours into. The combat is fluid, graphics are stunning, and the story is captivating. What more could you ask for?
