Amazing camera, long battery life

Excellent phone, the most amazing camera I've ever used. Interesting features that I've never seen on a phone (knuckle gesture for rolling screen shot and for screen shot video; dual screen for other apps). Only issue is that the CPU is prolly not as fast as the snap dragon, but this never hindered me in using full functionality of the phone. Not the best for games, but you're not getting this phone for gaming. Used nova launcher wonderfully. Again, the pictures on this phone are insane. Night mode is magic. And the pics you take conform to the surroundings and make every picture just beautiful. The battery life is the longest I've experienced in a phone. Charging is very fast. OLED screen very nice, and feature of eye comfort worked surprisingly very well in all light/night conditions. Had iPhone 4/5/6+/7+, OnePlus 5T and 6, razor prior to huawei and absolutely love this purchase. While I think the CPU is completely fine, knowing the speed of one plus and razor, wish it had snap dragon. But you wouldn't be able to tell, we're talking fractions of a second worth of response differences. Overall, love camera, love battery life, multiple additional features are nice.

Also, have not had any issues with Tmobile, has been working perfectly.

Desapointing packaging - I wonder how can they be in this business sending a top notch phone in such poor condition. Arm to Amazon reputation. Fortunately a exemption to the rule in my buying experience.

Apart From that amazing phone. Camera just so good. I had the p20 and get this pro for my wife. She was feed up with bad pictures.

Strengths:
The camera system is high quality. The phone takes super videos and pictures.
The processor is very fast.
Battery lasts more than 24 hours on a charge with average use for calls, SMS, emails and some web browsing. About 14 hours if you use navigation, music and videos.
The phone is a lot of fun to use.
Weaknesses:
The phone contains a lot of bloatware that cannot be used or removed. For example, Huawei cloud is not available at my location (US) but the phone keeps asking me to enter login credentials for it.
My unit came with a British plug. Since the USB cable can be removed this is not a problem.

So much to rave about my Huawei P20 Pro I don't know where to start.
First, to all the reviewers whose detailed reviews convinced me to buy this phone - thank you. So glad I did.
The phone looks stunning. Love the feeling holding it in my hand.
Charges 3 times faster than my previous, "fast-charging" phone. A voltage converter is included for US users.
Dual SIM slots for international travel. Yes! Ear buds included. YY!
Piece of cake transferring service/data from my old phone.
Fast, in most cases instantaneous processing. Finally, a phone that can keep up with me.
Takes stunningly sharp, detailed photos. Captures whatever the eye can see. Most people can't afford a Leica camera, but with this phone, I get a drop-dead gorgeous phone plus the best camera in the world. What a treat.
Have a lot more to say. Will leave it here. Go play with my P20.
And oh, from now on, it is Huawei all the way for me.

Well, hands down, screw American phones at this point.

I pitted this against my friends Galaxy 9
and my iPhone X and a friend's XR

My P20 Pro smashed them all. The PC mode is a million times better, my face unlock is better, my audio drivers are better (the microphone is not better than the iPhone), my call reception is astoundingly better. and the camera is unmatched.

Seriously, this camera, wow.

I will say, pair this with the DJI and not the Zhyun Smooth 4, just because the app support for the smooth 4 is garbage, especially since Zhyun literally took their paired app off the app store.

Amazing battery life, fast processor and a super wonderful camera.
Update: The first one I bought is still great. I bought a second because the battery of the first started to swell after 2 years and would break the back glass.
This second one has a defective power switch and it's only use is for parts. Cannibalised the battery and the first one is now working perfectly.
I wouldn't buy any more Hauwei from Amazon. Signing up for Ali Express!

The microphone doesn't work correctly so no body can hear me when I'm on the phone with them, the camera has a little bit of dust and I cannot read my camera's SD card ,the battery doesn't last and I'm pretty sure the phone was not new as there was some glue on the back of the phone ! very disappointed by the product

No quick settings on lockscreen functions.

I loved the phone when I first bought it but there was one issue that bothered me. I use my Android phones a certain way and one of the main features that was missing from the phone was the ability to use the quick settings from the lockscreen, and not to mention if you're someone who uses quick reply or enjoy seeing your full notification from the lockscreen this phone completely got rid of that ability. It was a deal breaker for me so I had to send it back. Other than that everything else about the phone was perfect, design, camera, and battery life were amazing just wasn't for me.
