Essentially a basic DSLR with mediocre picture quality, easy to use, super light and compact, battery friendly and fast for the price.

Video performance is not as expected, autofocus is stupid and deep breathing.

ISO is the weakest point of Nikon D3500 so far.

Lack if ISO button is a serious disadvantage.

Display quality is poor while the viewfinder sounds almost perfect to me.

Bluetooth file transfer takes forever for original size and SnapBridge app doesn't support live view for entry level models (I wish I would have researched this missed feature on D3500)

Anyhow, it was shipped safe and sound with the warranty card in a gold box including the camera body, strap, sensor cap, battery, charger and eye piece as well manuals.

I love the small size of this camera. I have several Nikon DSLR camera bodies and was looking for a smaller body for casual shooting. The Nikon D3500 is small and light weight. Very easy to use. Picture quality is wonderful. Low light shooting with high ISO up to 8000 is acceptable. This camera allows max ISO 25600. Picture quality is grainy when shoot over ISO 8000. It does not have access to dial in white balance in Kelvin. It only gives the basic preset white balance or customs white balance. Otherwise, I will give it a 5 stars.
