Update: I did have the same problem with the replacement!!! luckily I was able to request a return and receive a refund from Amazon, so I’m glad I bought them here instead than a retail store. I’d like to add that the user experience with the buttons was really annoying, I had to press and hold volume buttons for a very long time for next and previous song, doing that while running really breaks your pace, and even when walking, holding the arm up until the control trigger next song was not ideal, they should do what Beats and Bose make with the multi-function button in the middle, single press to play/pause, double press to next song, triple press to previous song, press and gold to trigger the assistant.
Won't buy Jaybird again and I suggest you no to do it. Sound and quality are good, but they will go off immediately after I turn them on, it's really frustrating how after a week or so of usage, they have become useless.
Looks like everything started because I used the snap feature the capsules have (they have magnets). Supposedly they will shut down after 15 minutes after snapped, but they went off before, and after that happened, every time I turn them on, they will go off before 10 seconds, tried both soft and hard reset and the problem is the same.
Also, according to the info that comes inside the box, the controls are supposed to be customizable but in the app there is no such way to make these adjustments.
Claimed the warranty but customer service is slow, they have asked me three times now for my info to send a replacement, and I've answered those three times as they seem not to read my messages.
I really wish I was able to get a refund instead, I'm afraid I will have the same problem with the new replacement. It's sad that I was really happy at the beginning and then this happens.
