I Like the Acer brand. Even their inexpensive products not only have a quality feel to them, but they also last. My last Acer laptop gave me 7 years of trouble free service. I would expect this one to do the same. The track pad does have a slight rattle on the left side. The track pad is amazingly responsive and the rattle does not bother me. I actually like the anti glare coating on the touch screen. The touch screen itself tends to show smudges easily, so I won't be using it much.
My biggest problem with this Chromebook is actually Google's update policy, something I did not know about until after I made this purchase. Check it out at: support.google.com. This brand new Chromebook may last me for the next six or eight years, but Google is only going to support it until June 2024. Google will only support any Chromebook for six years from the date it was introduced to the market NOT from it's date of purchase, even if brand new. If I had known this I would not have purchased this two year old model. I would have purchased a 2020 model instead. Yes I feel cheated. This policy is something that should be clearly labeled on every Chromebook and should be clearly explained in Amazon's description of the product. Because of this policy This Chromebook I bought only a couple of days ago is only worth two thirds of what I paid for it! Any lawyers out there? I smell a class action lawsuit!

I like Acer. I like their products. I just wish I had bought a 2020 model
