These is a Logitech product BTW made for Alienware. I have an Area51m R2 so I thought it would be nice to get this to go with it. We know Logitech has had "double click" issues for a long time. This is my second mouse. The first one I got directly from Alienware. It had the double click (from a single click) right outta the box. I knew this issue could develop over time but not right out of the box. It didn't happen constantly but just enough to really mess up my gaming. I tried everything hoping it was a software, driver, settings, etc issue. I finally wrote Alienware and it was such a pain dealing with them I just tossed it in the trash. I really liked the mouse in every way other than this issue which was a deal breaker with my gaming. So I read a lot of reviews and it seems I was really unlucky as this doesn't seem to be a wide spread issue right out of the box. But it does happen. The mouse I got from Amazon (same exact style mouse) is working perfectly and I'm much relieved. Very happy with this one. I would say it's a risk getting a good one but the odds are highly in your favor. If this happens to you just send it back right away because nothing short of putting in a new switch will help. Alienware might help you at some point but your going to be jumping through a lot of hoops. I've heard if you buy it from Amazon, Alienware tells you to deal with Amazon and not them. I guess Alienware isn't what it once was since Dell bought them. I guess Logitech gets to slide under the radar with this lol. Alienware Command Center is not intuitive but once the mouse is installed it's all there. You might have to do a few minutes of research to find the mouse settings and macros but once you figure out how it works everything is there and it works ok. Had I not wasted money on the trash one I got first this would have been a glowing 5 stars. The glowing alien head is cool ;) I have big hands and this is pretty much a "claw grip" which I like and have always used. They say this is made for "lefties" too, but the buttons are on the left so I think if your left handed this might be a little awkward.
