I'm a big Razer fan anyway and these headphones are awesome.
The sound is great
The mic is great
The RGB in linked via Synapse that links with all of your other Razer products.
You can also replace the ear pads if for some reason they become grizzled.

It’s great but

My only issue was it didn’t come wrapped in bubble wrap and no Razer serial number for warranty registration. It was open box but didn’t come with the original box. I asked before ordering if I would be able to register through Razer for the warranty and was told yes. Then when I received it and asked why there was no warranty info, I was told it was through them and that I can start the return process… not very helpful. How do I know this is a legitimate Razer product? I guess the positive is that it connected to synapse and it recognized the headset.

Update:

I ordered another headset and selected that it be packaged with Amazon’s packaging and when I did this, it was fully protected with bubble wrap and felt secure. Both headsets work. If you don’t mind forfeiting the Razer warranty due to it being open box (no box with no s/n) then I’d say go for it.

Great headphones! Must install the 3.0 software from Razer first. Didn’t on mine and was was very disappointed at first. Came from Logitech 933’s and it’s a massive improvement (50mm, better directional sound, and get compliments on mike clarity). I use PTT so the sound pickup issue some have isn’t a thing for me.

Couldn’t tell where sounds were from and most people could barely hear the mic. Installed the synapse 3.0 software and it worked like a dream. PC Hunt: Showdown player only so can’t comment on Xbox/PlayStation.

I have a Kraken Ultimate headset that I bought from Best Buy and broke, so I bought this from Amazon. When I put them side by side, the boxes are exactly the same, but the headsets differ. The Best Buy one fits my big head just fine. The Amazon one barely fits and is frankly, a little uncomfortable. The Best Buy one has 12" more of cable than the Amazon one. The Amazon one barely reaches my PC. I don't know how to tell if the Amazon one is a legit Kraken Ultimate or not as they look the same other than the cable length. Otherwise, the headset is sounding great and working just fine.

Waited for 1 whole month for it to be delivered, the night it did I plugged it in. Didn’t work. Installed the crap loads of software it needs. Still didn’t work. Tried restarting, tried literally everything to get it to work. In conclusion, should’ve listened to my older brother when he said to not buy razer products

It’s amazing for its price, The surround sound is really easy to set up, I am the worst person with computers and I figured it out in a minute. The Mic is really clear. It is really comfortable for nerves though I have glasses, which is really hard to find.

The clamping force isn't the greatest as the earpads don't fully clamp my ears. The sound quality is fairly good and the microphone actually doesn't sound bad. The LED light are a huge factor for chosing this version, but it's worth it.
