Top critical review
2.0 out of 5 starsNot a strategy game, maybe a puzzle game.

Boring, straightforward, simplistic combat and a narrator in your pocket who just won't shut up. Very pathetic game.
The combat initially comes off as innovative and clever, but in all actuality it's just a puzzle that you HAVE to solve and there is only one way to solve it and it happens LITERALLY every single move you make in combat. I was hoping it would use this 3D battlefield to use unique strategy options when attacking your enemies based on their position, but it's literally just a puzzle. You can't really skip it either, because if you do you'll lose the attack bonus. Without that attack bonus, you won't be able to kill the enemies on your move and they deal a large amount of damage when they attack. There is no strategy in this game. Solve a puzzle and then do a predesignated attack. You either jump or hammer and that is literally it. Items are unnecessary, and the only other moves you have is stronger jump and stronger hammer.
The Narrator in your pocket constantly interrupts the game with useless commentary. You spend about half your time dealing with her dialogue.
THERE IS NO XP. Only money. And money is basically worthless. I have more money than I could ever spend after beating 2 bosses.
Speaking of Bosses. This is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Boss fights are the only redeemable portion of this game. You are on the outside navigating into the rings where the boss sits in the center to fight him. This concept is pretty fun and actually makes me feel like I'm making unique choices in this "so-called" strategy game.
