3.0 out of 5 starsRetail Work
Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2021
I spend 8 hours walking retail, walkingaround the store, or sometimes just standing at the register, so i need a pair of shoes that are comfortable and won't kill my feet. I tried em for about 2 days, I'm a 10 1/2 size mens, 5'6, 220lbs
Overall review: The comfort level on these is up there, 9/10 on comfort. Due to my old shoes being a bit too wide and loose one of my feet started getting a sharp pain at the bottom of my foot, similar to plantar fasciitis (I had New balance 626 shoes) . At times the pain would begin to act up with these on just like with my previous shoes. But these are so comfortable and well done that the pain was alleviated within a couple minutes. As for the end of the day my feet were not in pain compared to my previous shoes, they were fine.
However, the reason for the 3 star is due to the toe section being way too tight. My foot isn't too wide but it's not small either. The first day of trying these on, both my toes were in pain. A coworker told me maybe they were too small, but 10 1/2 gives me about a thumb space from the front of the shoe which seemed perfectly fine for me, maybe i should've tried a size 11. I tried expanding the toe section by breaking it in overnight with tricks i got from the internet, didn't work too well. With thinner socks it wasn't as bad. I would've tried breaking em in more, but I ended up going to a store that had the asics nimbus 23's. When i tried those on, they were perfect. My toes didn't feel crammed and the support felt as good as the ultraboost.
Overall good comfort, it is definitely as lite as a cloud. Bit snug at the toes, maybe it was just me and my big feet. Design is okay, i didn't know it was an all in one shoe. And by that i mean the tongue isn't separated, it's just all together like a slip on, but not a slip on.
