5.0 out of 5 starsI forgot I was wearing it!
Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2015
I have gone through so many sports bras looking for the right one. I'm not a fan of 'double bagging' the girls with two sports bras. I tried it and I mostly felt like I was wearing some sort of binder that just strapped them down to my chest. No thank you.

First - I actually bought the underwire version of this first. I don't remember what size I bought, but the cups were a little bit large for me so I got the FF version of this. The FF fits me perfectly (despite the Herroom sizing chart putting me at something like a GG) so I marked it as fitting slightly large. Not sure if it's the bra, the measurements, or my ability to read the numbers adequately (it's probably not the last one).

The underwire one was pretty good, except for the fact that the first thing that failed on the bra was the underwire sticking out of the bra! I haven't had that happen to me in years with an underwire bra. I know how to care for them and how to clean them properly, so I jumped at the chance to get a wireless version of the same bra. Plus, purple is one of my favorite colors, and I couldn't beat the price (it was only $40 for me, which is a steal for an extended-size bra).

I saw a previous reviewer saying that it was a little warm for her, and that she could hear the j-hook squeaking. I have neither complaint - possibly a difference in the bra, or difference in body temps.

I never, ever forget that I'm wearing a bra. I've been wearing bras since third grade. I've got, as they say, bodacious tatas. Bras that are supportive enough to keep the girls in line are more like iron maidens than they are pretty things of cloth and lace. They're modern-day torture devices. I have NEVER forgotten I was wearing a bra, especially not while working out.

Welp. I forgot I was wearing this one. I was in the middle of doing an aerial class, hanging upside down from a silk hammock, and it was so comfortable and stable that it was like I wasn't wearing one. A miracle! Since then, I have also forgotten about it while climbing a rock wall and while wearing it around my office - because now I've started wearing one of these for work as well as working out. I can run a 5k in it, turn upside down in it, jump up and down in it, and it does wonders.

I've ordered several more of the same model, even at a higher price, and I would encourage you to do the same.

3.0 out of 5 starsFit is better than the wired version, but support is slightly worse
Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2024
I bought both this bra and the wired version at the same time to compare, and I like each about the same for different reasons/activities. For reference, I got both versions in my usual 34F based on the size chart, and both fit more or less correctly based on the provided measurements. I bought both in solid black, and they look pretty similar from a distance. They're both pretty thick and sturdy with similar construction, minus the wires, but the wireless one has purple trim around the seams that does elevate the look a bit.

Now to the performance comparisons. The shape of the wire-free version is much better for my body type than the wired, especially in the molding of the cups. It's also significantly more flexible (obviously) and fits better under athletic shirts. I'll probably never use the racetrack option on either version for comfort reasons, but the hardware on the wireless seems to be slightly higher quality than the wired.

That said, the wired version does reduce movement more and provide slightly better support than this one. The wireless version relies more on the shoulder straps, which could become problematic over time, whereas the wired version hardly puts weight on the straps at all and relies almost solely on the band for support.

For high-intensity exercise, the wired version is more appropriate for me as it really stabilizes "the girls." The wireless version does allow a small amount of bounce, and I find myself holding it in place to prevent shoulder strain at certain points in my workouts. For moderate or low-intensity activity, though, I prefer the wireless as it's more comfortable and moves better with my body. I would probably not wear this version for running, jumping, etc., but it performs very well for low-bounce activities.

Tldr: I moderately like this bra and it performs reasonably well in certain contexts. I'm docking it a star because it's not very flattering and another because it doesn't entirely reduce bounce, but overall would still recommend it over cheaper S/M/L sports bras just based on the fact that it comes in my actual size and I don't have to constantly hold it in place.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprise! H-Cup Support!
Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2017
Verified Purchase
I couldn't believe it when I tried this sports bra again. I need lots of support—I do high-impact, explosive cardio, and I'm a J/K in American sizes (H in UK), and this bra does the trick all by itself! I'd gotten used to doubling up two $70 wireless bras (Anita Extreme Control) just to get the support I need without an underwire, but this bra is magic!

NOTE: These are in UK sizes. Be sure you know your size or be ready to try and return. UK sizes are more consistent in larger cup sizes, so once you find your size, it won't vary much like it probably does in US brands (my experience, at least).

I'm relieved that they finally added some nice colors. When I tried it again in the gorgeous purple with coral accents and liked it, I remembered that I tried it before in the gray. The bra had worked fine, I'd determined, but the color was so UGLY that I couldn't bear to wear it. It was a depressing, discouraging, ugly gray. Even the patterned gray was unbearable. So, yay, Panache, for fixing the problem and adding color! I bought this in four sizes (I'm losing weight), to make sure I won't run out of the gorgeous purple. I also bought Cobalt (blue and black) and considered Navy Multi, but these suffer from color-downplay (black straps mean you don't see color on the Cobalt as often as you might like; mostly dark navy on the Navy Multi really takes away from the gorgeous straps). So, give me more gorgeous colors and patterns that have two nice colors like the Purple/Coral or a multi-colored pattern, and I'll buy a new exercise wardrobe from you, Panache!

PROS
Amazing support; the best I've found for non-wired H-cup
Amazing colors (if they still have them)
Strong band doesn't stretch or roll
Good shape—none of that "uniboob" problem
Doesn't lose shape, shrink, or stretch when washed in a lingerie bag on delicate in the washing machine (hang dry)
Often excellent price; I save $10-$30 over my last sports bra!

CONS
Straps are a little too narrow; they do leave marks on my shoulders
Straps stretch a little and give a bit, causing some bounce they could've easily corrected with better straps
Clasps on the band are a bit too weak—after just a few weeks, they've started to pull loose a bit
Basic colors are boring or ugly (I will never buy a 1-color sports bra—how boring! And the grays are ugly)
Bulkier than unpadded non-wired bras—takes up six times as much space as my Anita Extreme Control (my old go-to)

In short, I definitely recommend this sports bra if you've been struggling to find high-impact support for bigger cup sizes. Buy and leap for joy! :)

4.0 out of 5 stars So I need a good bra and have discovered that it seems to be ...
Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2016

Stats first-- 160lb, 5'8", wear a 36G bra and breastfed four children for a long time. So I need a good bra and have discovered that it seems to be more effective to purchase a new bra every six months than to hope a bra will last longer than six months.
That being said- I received this bra yesterday, so can give you an initial review only. It's a nice looking bra-- bright colors. I was a little taken back by the fact that it came with each cup fully stuffed. I can only imagine what the UPS guy thought when he put it on my doorstep. Actually, I'm pretty sure I know *exactly* what he was thinking.
Regardless, these cups are fully shaped, which does provide a good amount of support. I like that the straps aren't too wide, which basically screams unattractiveness. It feels good when it comes to support. I'm actually am wearing it now, as I type- and I wore it to work (professional office- under a suit) because it doesn't give that horrible uni-breast look you dread in a sports bra.
Like many large chested women, my greatest pain comes from the straps digging in to my shoulders-- and this bra seems to be doing an effective job of avoiding that. I actually feel very little pressure on my shoulders, so I'm quite pleased with that.
My *only* reservation with this bra is that the front seems to roll a little under my breasts. Perhaps this could be fixed with a larger cup size, I don't know, but most likely yes. Although I've found that larger cup sizes seem to gap in other places, so..... I'm sure you know how it is-- no one bra size seems to work for every bra/ every body.
All that said, I'm keeping this bra. I hike a lot, and I think this will be a great bra for that-- not only because of the lack of pressure on my shoulders- but for overall fit and comfort. To me, the strongest benefit of this bra is, in fact, that lack of shoulder strap pressure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Comfort and Support, Especially for Wide/Round Bust
Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2020

I'll say to start off that I wear a 28DD in Panache/Cleo bras but usually a 28D in other brands. I've got a wide/round and relatively shallow bust shape, which has meant that every other sports bra I tried were too pointy and not supportive enough. I even had that issue with Panache's wired sports bra.

However this wireless sports bra has the absolute perfect fit. The cups are large enough to capture and hold all my breast tissue securely without being uncomfortably tight or pinching. I can jog up and down my stairs and my breasts don't BUDGE. This is the sports bra against which all other sports bras will now be judged. I also didn't have the issue I've had with all other sports bras I tried of the neckline cutting into my breasts at the top and giving me some amount of quadboob. You can see from the picture I do still have some cleavage poking out, but not in an awkward looking or feeling way. That minor issue might be fixed if I went up to a 28E, but it is not something that bothers me enough to check. I have wide, round, high-set breasts, so I think there would be a little of that no matter what.

The band is quite tight at first, and I struggled the first couple of times to get it hooked, but once hooked it settled comfortably in place, and after a few wears it started to loosen up. I found that it worked best to stretch the band out a bit before putting the bra on, to loosen up the material. And I'd rather have a bra that started out with a tight band that will loosen over time than a bra that is barely tight enough on the tightest hook.

I've worn this around the house some days even when I'm not exercising, because it is comfortable and I live in a townhouse and it is so nice not to have to hold my chest going down the stairs. It's kept me pretty cool walking in the hot TN weather, and I usually have to be out and about and sweating for a long time before it starts to feel wet.

I love it a lot, and really wish that more of the colors were available in my size, especially since it seems that all underwired sports bras don't fit me right, even Panache's.

I've used the underwired version of this bra for nearly a decade now, and because underwires are a big health no-no (look it up!) I've switched to the no wire model. WOW! Literally just as good, supportive and sturdy for my big gals! What a relief I don't need to compromise!

Love this model and I'll certainly be getting it in more colors!!

I do not understand why it is so hard to purchase a sports bra! I am a 34 C and as sports bras always seem to run small I ordered a 36 C. It is so tight I could not possibly wear it. The band measures 29 inches upstretched and there is no way it is stretching 7 inches to get to 36. I mean I only need it to go to 34 and it couldn't even do that. Very disappointing product. I will say it looks well made and if it had been sized correctly I would have kept it. FYI all my regular undergarments are 34C so I know how to measure. For some reason all these sport bra companies want to strangle women's chests! Super frustrating as this isn't a cheap bra either. Another return! What a PIA

5.0 out of 5 stars Great high impact support

It's not often I write a review, but this one was necessary after spending a lot of time researching a running bra. It's not easy to find a small band size coupled with a large cup size that actually provides high impact support. This bra provides it all! The bra fit perfectly as the straps are adjustable. The support is outstanding, and the "girls" are held firmly in place so I can run confidently and comfortably. I'll be placing an order for another one soon!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Descent!

Ordered 7 bras with my Prime membership to try. The 2 styles of Panache Sport bras I tried were with underwire in grey and without in black with the purple seem line.

My size is 34FF but I have gained 15 lbs in the past 6 months so I ordered 34G in all the bras I ordered to determine how accurate their sizing is.

The Panache underwire cups were a tiny bit big in the G and the no wire is a tiny bit small.

I have issues whenever I go up in band size to 36. It starts out on the closest setting and stretches out too wide. The 34 band on the widest setting is tight at first but not restrictive. They will stretch and be perfect in a month.

I run on the treadmill, do yoga & Jiu-jitsu 4 days/ week in these sports bras.

I appreciate how high up under the arm both bras are; they have more coverage and less spillage. I do wear sport tanks underneath to absorb sweat and chaffing.
I hate bras directly on my skin as the chaffing creates more skin tags.

It is more uni-boob than the underwire which means my profile is less conspicuous but there's more bounce allowance.

Final assessment, I like this bra. It's worth the price.
