1.0 out of 5 starsLooks good, but functionally pretty terrible.

Make no mistake, this display from a form perspective looks fantastic. Unfortunately, that’s where the high points end. I wanted to use this for my iPad mini gen 6. The touchscreen does not function for iPad, I’ve looked it up and have seen that this is generally the case for most other tablet users. Also, no autorotation. Then I discovered that once the device battery gets down to 70%, the display won’t power up, so you have to use the secondary usb-c. I really wanted to like it and I thought maybe it could just be a display for streaming while I’m working. But even then, the display takes over volume control from the iPad and puts it on full volume and it cannot be turned down, nor will it allow for Bluetooth headphones. It feels like my device is simply not compatible with the display, however manufacturers website lists my device as compatible, at least from what I can tell…it doesn’t really load properly on mobile chrome browser. Manufacturer videos show the display working fairly smoothly on laptop/desktop applications…and maybe truly is just computer-compatible…the extensive, inclusive and false compatibility list makes it feel like the whole thing is a money-grab. So double check, and find others who have had success with the same device you plan to use.
