It's hard to decide where to start.
Google has made a baffling decision to abridge information about step counts over 10,000. This means that once you exceed 9999 steps, the watch now just says 10K, or 12.1K, or 14.7K, etc. They are aware of this, but see it as a feature, not a bug.
Google proudly advertises an impressive library of free and paid watch faces in the Play Store, but because of the above issue with how it displays step counts, most watch faces developed using Samsung Watch Face Studio cannot display accurate step count information once you hit 10,000 steps. Again, this has been a problem from the start, and there is no hope for a fix. That's right: Google's flagship wearable doesn't work properly with most of the watch faces that it wants to sell you!
The Home app, which lets you interface and control devices connected to your Google Home phone app, takes 5 seconds to load the status of your devices once you launch it.
If you have bedtime mode enabled, Google Home just errors out when you open it, as if WiFi is disabled.
Screen lock is turned off if you get a call while you're in the middle of an activity you are tracking.
The battery life is embarrassing.
This is beta technology at best. A toy. And not even a particularly good one. It is not a device for people who are serious about fitness.
