I shop around for my tech, and usually makde great decisions, this is not one of them. I received my TV (75U6K) on 9/16/23. I set up the unit and turned it on. Immediately the picture had horizontal lines across it. What I should have done is returned it through Amazon and got a refund.
Instead, I decided to give Hisense the benefit of the doubt and called their support line. After needing pictures, and numerous phone calls I was finally able to get a local technician to attempt to fix it. The tech was nice and replaced all of the boards, timer control board, power board, and main board. It again worked for about 3 hours and then it happened again, horizontal lines all across the screen. I called the local tech and he unfortunately closed the case. So I again had to open a new case, get another tech to attempt the same thing, without fail it failed yet again and horizontal lines all across the screen once more.
After several more calls daily, and each call being told that it is being reviewed, 24 hours later I'd be contacted. Here we are 72 hours later on 10/27/23 (a month and a half later from purchase) and still nothing, it's still being reviewed. No managers are available to call, and I'm yet again told to wait 24 hours.
I'll update when I actually can watch the screen for more than half a second without the horizontal lines and looking like absolute [ess-ach-eye-tee]. I'm debating whether to just turn around and sell it once it arrives and get something else.
Avoid this brand, AVOID HISENSE, Garbage product, awful support. Get a TCL if you're looking for a budget TV with good specs. I have a TCL in my other room, and it looks fantastic with no issues. AVOID. DO NOT BUY HISENSE.
