Not perfect, but I like it a lot
No Fitbit I’ve ever owned has been perfect. Typically I’ve never had any issues with step count and maybe just the occasional glitch with sleep tracking, but heart rate monitoring has had its share of struggles with every device I’ve had. My last one (Charge 5) did great reading heart rate during hard cardio but struggled during weight lifting—it would tell me I was at something like 67 bpm when I could manually take my pulse and tell it was at least 130. The Versa 3 still isn’t perfect, but the heart rate monitoring is a lot more balanced and it does a better job reading it during weights (to the point that I actually get active minutes credit now). I like the larger display and the variety of UI layouts—I chose one that lets me see all my stats in one go rather than having to swipe through any screens. I don’t use it with music or voice assistant or anything, but the larger screen is also great for checking incoming mobile notifications. The battery life may not be quiiiite as good as some of the previous models I’ve owned (maybe 5 days instead of a whole week), but I’ve also only had to charge it once since I got it and I don’t think it was fully charged when I started wearing it, so it’s hard to tell. It does charge fast though, which is nice.It still has its little quirks that I wish could be improved, but overall I’m very pleased.

I was way overdue for an upgrade to level up my weight loss regime, on top of purchasing more home gym machines (bit of an addict :/ ). I used to have a Flex2. This versa was not hard to learn and I love how it can do so much. Weather, daily stats, heart rate, and exercise app all from the watch. Tons of exercises are available but unfortunately for me rowing is not one of them. BOO…please fix Fitbit!!! Battery lasts all week and syncs to my app with no problems. Haven’t used pay feature or Spotify. I synced mine to Alexa, wish I could have my Amazon music app and not Spotify. Overall good watch but I am bias as I am a past Fitbit user. Haven’t used any other kind of fitness watch so I have nothing to compare it to. As an apple iPhone user be aware you cannot reply to your texts that come across your versa. Didn’t know that ahead of time so I am a bit disappointed. That and no rowing under the exercise app are the only reasons I rated this a 4 star. Otherwise I would recommend this watch.

My Fitbit Charge 2 died. I ordered and sent back two Fitbit Charge 2’s. I ordered and sent back a Fitbit Luxe. Each had issues.
I gave Fitbit one more chance and ordered a Fitbit Versa 3 and I love it.
I’ve worn it for two weeks and find the ease of viewing screens friendly for these old eyes. Weather, notice of text messsges, reminders to move each hour, phone notifications, and more are easy to swipe to see.
The screen is big and bright enough for me. I chose this Fitbit after reading a non-Amazon review that the Fitbit Versa 3 was the best pick for “seniors” and I agree.
The band is different but having taken it off and on several times, it became easy to use.
The battery doesn’t last for 7 days but that might be due to my opening the app on my phone several times a day as well as scrolling different widgets on my Fitbit. But it charges fast while I shower.
I’m very pleased with the Fitbit Versa 3 and glad I gave Fitbit one more chance. I definitely recommend it.
