Fantastic Watch, but it broke

Fantastic Watch, but it broke
TLDR: Great fitness tracker and notification machine, but quite fragile.I really enjoyed this watch as a notification machine and fitness tracker. Replying to texts on the watch was simple, payments with NFC were relatively quick, and heart rate, step, and other fitness tracking provided accurate numbers. I thoroughly enjoyed this watch until it broke. I had seen reviews regarding its fragility, but I figured I could be careful enough. In classic freak accident fashion though, I managed to get my watch ripped from my arm while playing tetherball. One of the plastic pieces where the watchband is attached (called lugs) was broken free and lost forever in the grass of my friend's yard. I would still recommend this watch to someone who wants a fitness tracker with some extra Android features, but I would advise them to be extra careful with the watch and to buy the Explorist instead if they want added durability and don't want to end up with a $200 pocket watch.

It is a really economic watch that works both with android and iOS and offers features like showing messages, emails on the phone, control music on phone from watch and fitness features like heart rate, measuring steps, estimating calories. It can be worn to a certain depth in water (waterproof also I believe) My concerns are battery life which I felt was low. Watch will require frequent recharging which heats the watch making it uncomfortable to wear and reduce watch longevity in general. But this watch has so many more features to offer compared to other smartwatches like fitbit versa 3 which costs twice as much. However its smaller in size that Fossil gen4 and gen5 variants. Its good for u if you have a medium to small size wrist. The in box strap sucks so you will probably have to go out and get one you like. It fits all standard straps. I did not like the packaging specially considering I wanted to gift it to someone.
