    I got my Samsung earbuds (Galaxy Buds Pro) when I bought my phone and liked them while they lasted. Decent ANR when flying and good enough audio quality for me as a casual user.
    When the Samsung ones stopped working I decided to get the Sony ones as they were on par with the Bose in reviews and significantly less expensive. Great decision :-)
    I love the functionality, they fit perfectly - no issues after wearing them for 6 hrs the first day - and the sound is just amazing. Obviously not the bass I get out of the 200W subwoofer in the home cinema, but very good for earbuds and the overall sound is so much better than with the Samsung ones, I was blown away.
    A great product and I for sure will never go back to Samsung ones...

    I have used Bose Quiet Comfort ear buds for years. I bought these and there are things I like better and worse than Bose.

    Negative:
    Charging Life is shorter than BQC...but they and the case are much smaller so that's not surprising.
    Noise Cancellation is not as good as BQC.
    Not as secure in the ear as the Bose wing design. I have difficult and small ears that cannot take Apple earbuds. The Sonys are fairly secure, but one ear isn't as secure as the other.

    Pros:
    Connection is easier and stronger than the BQC wireless connection which tends to drop when you walk away from your device. I can (mostly) walk through my house without them disconnecting.
    They reconnect without issue when turned on. Bose QC frequently needs a fresh connection.
    Case is smaller and more discreet.
    Profile is much more comfortable for sleeping in.

    I've never owned such great ear buds, the sound quality is truly amazing. So why just 1 star? As many other reviews have indicated, Sony customer service/support have become a joke. I contacted Sony for some information about the earbuds - nothing was wrong with the earbuds. Sony was responsive enough, but the joke is this - they also informed me at that time that should there ever be any issues with my earbuds, Sony will not honor its warranty as I didn't purchase it from an authorized Sony dealer. Even though I bought it on Amazon, but it was by a third party market seller, and the seller wasn't an authorized dealer. So I guess Sony first expects its customers to be savvy of this policy, and then to also do a FBI style vetting of sellers before buying any of their products, even if the platform was Amazon. I wonder how Sony is getting away with this? I could absorb the $300 loss should there be an irreparable problem, but what about a young kid who had saved up the money to buy it? I think Sony should mandate Amazon and other non authorized sellers to clearly indicate this policy in a product's selling headers. Then it would be fair as buyers are made aware of such policy, so proceed at our own risk. Such a shame that an established and reputable brand like Sony also seemed to have succumb to corporate profit over maintaining their name...

    I bought these to replace AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 3. in hopes that I will get better phone call noise reduction and as a smaller travel option to my over-ear Sony 3000. Calls are as bad on these as on all the AirPods. And while the music sound is nice, it is the worst fit ever! You have to twist and turn and screw the things into the ear, and even after a five minute hassle with each ear, they come loose when bending and fall out easily. The number of times they went scattering on the floor of public areas! The pod material is also not conducive to cleaning. And finally, they look ugly sticking out of the raids unlike AirPods or other similar products. I bought based on a glowing review from wire cutter and would date it as one the worst purchases I’ve made. My over-ear Sony model is pretty good.

    These headphones are not worth the trouble. I've already wasted enough time having them re-furbished by Sony and on the phone with tech support. They simply do not connect to 2 devices at once, as advertised. (and yes, I have the correct setting turned on). They default to the last device, which is ok, but then do not connect to the 2nd device even when you've turned off bluetooth for the 1st device. I had to keep re-pairing them and trying to connect again. If you want to listen to something and have to spend 15 minutes connecting bluetooth, it's not worth it. Other functions seem ok, but I've lost patience.

    Le encantaron a mi hijo, su sonido es excelente esa fidelidad que caracteriza a Sony, su calidad en materiales y por un momento me dejé llevar por opiniones de que solo para orejas grandes y es mentira por eso trae diferentes tamaños de gomas y efectivamente bloquea el sonido no escuchas nada de afuera, espero que duren mucho tiempo claro también hay que cuidarlos

    Ok, first I was quite disappointed - like so many say they were uncomfortable and the noise cancellation wasn't much better than such as Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros. BUT hey I discovered something!!

    I decided to play with the options. I normally choose Medium sized ear tips - done that for pretty much all my earbuds over the years. So obviously I chose them first on these Sony XM4's. They fit the ear canal perfectly and gave pretty good seal - I thought. But soon I felt them uncomfortable and painful and noise cancellation wasn't much to talk about.

    I started looking at the Large tips. "No way can those fit in my ear canal?" I thought. But paying £200 ish for these I decided to try all options. And then the magic happened..! Perfect passive sound isolation, the ANC blocking pretty much everything, and most important: they are now very comfortable! I can easily take them now for a long haul flight.

    How is this even possible?!

    So my answer in my experience is this: the medium ear tips go further in the ear canal where the foam tips pressure too much making them uncomfortable, while still not perfectly passively cancelling noise.

    The larger ear tips sit mainly on the mouth of the ear canal, not going deep in at all. But still the tip seals the ear perfectly and is... comfortable and with ANC incredible silent.

    If you struggle try all the ear tips - don't return these masterpieces without a fight! :)

    I bought the silver ones... love the color. They are NOT silver. More like color of sand and don't stand out as much as the black ones. Well in my opinion. The build quality is really solid and battery life so far more than excellent. The case is also nice and small and fits easily in my jeans pocket.

    Highly recommended.
