Ich fotografiere hauptsächlich meine Familie und Kinder, ab und an auf Auftragsbasis Events, Portraits, Hochzeiten, Taufen etc., um mir so zum Teil mein Hobby zu finanzieren.
Bis vor kurzem habe ich noch eine 6D und eine 70D besessen. Die 6D rein für Fotos und v.a. Low-Light, die 70D für Videos oder für Situationen, in denen der AF der 6D einfach nicht mithalten konnte. Und das kommt leider sehr schnell vor. Jedoch gefallen mir die Ergebnisse der Vollformatkamera um einiges besser als die der APS-C. Und gegen Ende 2016 konnte ich einfach nicht mehr mit der AF-Krücke 6D leben. Es hat mich wahnsinnig gemacht, tolle Shots um einen kurzen Moment zu verpassen bzw nur den mittleren Fokuspunkt sinnvoll nutzen zu können.
Was waren also die Optionen? 5D III : Low Light nicht so gut wie 6D, keine liebgewonnen Luxus-Features der 70D (Wifi; ja nutze ich, Touchscreen/Dual Pixel Fokus im LiveView bzw v.a. beim Filmen)
Alle L-Linsen verkaufen, Systemwechsel?
Pentax K1? Sony A7RII? Nikon D810? Alles gute Kameras, keine Frage. Aber Bildqualität ist nicht alles. Die Bedienung, die Objektive, das Service (bei jeder Cam bis jetzt genutzt) ist einfach bei Canon (zumindest in Ö) auf höchstem Niveau. Also in den sauren Apfel beißen und den Premium Preis der 5DIV zahlen...
Und jetzt versteifen sich viele darauf, was die Kamera nicht kann. Das wurde ja schon ordentlich zerkaut das Thema. Und meine Sicht im echten Leben:
x) Die 5DIV ist eine extrem gute Kamera, der Autofokus ist zuverlässig, viele der Tasten sind frei belegbar (habe z.B die * Taste auf ONESHOT<>SERVO gelegt, den zusätzlichen Mini-Button auf Schnelldurchlauf der AF-Zonen) und das macht es sehr sehr einfach die Settings zu wechseln und auf Situationen zu adaptieren, ohne das Auge vom Sucher nehmen zu müssen.
x) Die Bildqualität ist ausgezeichnet, auch / trotz Bayer-Filter. Meiner Meinung nach ein Fehler ihn drauf zu lassen, aber in Realität (wenn man nicht Billboards schießt etc) nur ein kleiner Minuspunkt.
x) 50% mehr höhere Auflösung als die 6D, ziemlich ähnliches Noise-Verhalten. Das ist ziemlich gut!
x) Video: brauche 4K nicht unbedingt, bevorzuge eher traditionell 1080p /25. Ein FlipScreen wäre da ziemlich praktisch, verstehe aber das Argument der Stabilität auch. Ich habe lieber eine Kamera mit der ich Fotos quer durch die Hölle machen kann als ein Luxus Feature, welches leicht als Sollbruchstelle agiert.
x) NFC! WiFi schaltet sich automatisch aus / ein. Frisst nicht mehr unnötig viel Akku im Standby, Handy mit NFC zum Cardslot halten und es aktiviert und verbindet sich alleine ; das ist eine sinnvolle Lösung.
x) Handling: Liegt gut in der Handy, mache mit keine Sorgen dass sie mir mal unabsichtlich aus der Hand rutscht (mir persönlich liegt in dem Punkt die A7rII ganz und gar nicht)
x) AI-SERVO Einstellungen: Na bumm. Wenn man wie ich von einer 6D/70D kommt, wow...so viele Einstellungen und Presets über das Verhalten, aber nach kurzem hinsehen schnell verständlich
x) Menü: tolles Custum info Menü, lässt sich bearbeiten wie der HomeScreen am Smartphone. Mal schauen wie oft ich dieses Feature jedoch verwende, da ich am liebsten "Screen off" fotografiere; (natürlich schon chimpen, aber nicht "always on" :) )
Fazit: Ich glaube dass viele, die nur die bekannten Schwächen in Foren und Rezessionen aufzählen, gar keine 5Div besitzen bzw es auch nie in Erwägung gezogen haben. Die Kamera ist ein ausgezeichnetes Stück Technik, die vieles richtig macht und es einem leichter macht, schöne Momente in großartiger Qualität festzuhalten. Und nach Abzug aller Bells&Whistles (auch der Konkurrenz-Produkte) bleibt im Kern ein Workhorse für Profis und Enthusiasten. Von den Pinguinen in der Antarktis, Modelshootings im Studio oder on Location, Sportereignisse bis zu den ersten Schritten der Kinder, Schulaufführungen und am Strand; Die 5D Serie ist auch mit Mark IV überall mit dabei. Sie ist keine Hasselblad im Studio, keine 1DxII an der Out-Linie, keine kleine Knipse für die Hosentasche; Sie ist aber da wenn es drauf ankommt, in fast allen Situationen das Beste rauszuholen.
