They say the headphones are perfect for hearing in game noises like footsteps and music. The sound signature is both flat and great, with balanced frequencies. The ear cups are large enough, the pads are very comfy and they are even padded on the inside! As well the head band is very well padded with the same material. You won't see it like very padded or stuffed, but the material is amazing. The plastic on which is built is very sturdy and it has a velvety feel on some parts. There is metal on the headband's inside to regulate the size. You can rotate the ear cups and store them on the velvet bag (included) for traveling.
Sound quality-wise, they are amazing. You can listen to everything going on around you with pinpointed accuracy. Bass is not overloaded, treble and mids are rich but not saturated. If you're playing on a laptop, the DAC/AMP of the MH-752 may come in handy for additional power to be driven to your headsets and a better experience.
I was going to purchase a pair of Kraken's or BlackShark's, however please note: those one's cables are not removable. If something happens and that cable gets damaged, that's it. The only downside is that there is cable noise when you touch it or when it touches your jacket or clothes or desk. Other than that, they are built to last.
After watching Z Reviews on these headphones , he's commented about them above, I was very curious how good they could be for the price. He is totally right, these absolutely some of the best or THE best closed back headphones for the price. Extremely comfortable, sound great, very light weight and very good sound isolation.
In my opinion, these are the best headphones for the office. I currently have them paired with a Schiit Fulla 2, because my 3.5 mm jack from my work laptop is garbage and I was getting a lot of static and interference, with great results, however a DAC/Amp is definitely not needed to drive them. They're prefect for the office because they're very subtle and matte black, not flashy, they block out most of the every day office noise, and the mic easily allows me to participate in conference calls from my desk.
For gaming, they're also excellent, especially for the price. I used them for gaming for about a week before bringing them to the office to get a good impression. Though I haven't tried other gaming headphones, but these do a great job with imaging and letting you know right were an enemy or sound is coming from. However, with the closed back design, the soundstage is much more narrow compared to open back, so thy're not as good for indicating how far away the target is compared to open back headphones. Compared to other closed back headphones, I think they soundstage is pretty good though. Mic quality, from what I can tell, is great. I've had no issues or complaints regarding it.
PROS:
- Comfort. Cannot speak more highly about the comfort of these. I can wear them all day without discomfort
- Sound. For the price, these hit way above their price point. I got them for $62 here, but I would easily pay twice that. I have found the sound signature to be pleasant and not fatiguing; no problems with long listening sessions. I don't know enough to confidently give a good description of the sound signature though. I also own a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770s with Dekoni Sheepskin Pads and the AKG K7XX which is my frame of reference.
- Clamp Force. The clamp force is very light so your head doesn't feel like it's getting crushed
- Cable. The cable is a nice thick sleeved cable, feels good, doesn't get tangled, great quality
- Style. Clean, minimal, matte black style is nice. Great for the office because of the minimalist branding and no flashy colors, styling, or RBG like some of these other gaming headsets
- Material. Though it is all plastic it feels very sturdy without any creaking or weird noises. Nice "snapping" or "clicking" when adjusting the headband, very firm and holds well. The ear cups have a nice matte texture to them which don't attract finger prints. Pleather earpads and headband don't feel super thin and I prefer this to velour pads. Though I wish it was real protein leather, I absolutely cannot complain at this price since the Dekoni pads I have were almost the price I paid for this headphone.
- Cable splitter. Nice for them to include a quality splitter
- Rotating earcups. Really nice to be able to fold them down to make them flatter. Nice for travel, and it's easy to find a hard travel case. They fit in my Bose QC15 case, so with a quick Amazon search I got myself a travel case.
CONS:
- Earpads and headband. Though this is a personal preference, I wish the cushions were a little more dense for a little more comfort
- Cable. Downside to the cable is the locking mechanism, wish it was just a plain 3.5mm jack so I can use any cable. Also the connector on the other end doesn't have a reduced neck (on either the main cable or the splitter) so you can't plug it into your phone without taking the case off. However, from what I've head I believe the VModa BoomMic works on these, though I have yet to try it.
- Mic hole. Though I like the detachable mic, I wish there wasn't a decent sized hole left when you take out the mic. would be nice to have a plug or something to close it off.
- Cable. I don't really like the volume control knob on the cable, but I do like the mute mic button, however I would have just preferred a blank cable and a mic mute button on the earcup. The mic controls are really low on the wire, if anything they could have moved it close to the earcup to be more accessible like more other inline controls out there.
- Clamp Force. Though it is very light, it isn't really enough to keep these on your head. This is fine for the most part, but if I move much they move around my head or fall off.
Final Thoughts:
For the price, I cannot recommend these more. Based on the Takstar Pro 82s, these are excellent beginner audiophile headphones, and offer an unbeatable value. Super comfortable, sound great, very versatile. You should buy a pair you won't regret it.
Hard Case I mentioned:

The build feels solid , lightweight, and is very comfortable. The grip is loose, which is helpful to me as someone who gets regular migraines. I can wear this longer without feeling like my head is in a vice. The earcups fit entirely over my ears without any discomfort at all, and there's no creaking in any part of the headset, no matter how I move it.
The sound quality in the ear pieces is lovely and clear. The microphone has earned me compliments from my Discord friends for how clear the mic is.
I only have two complaints:
1) The cord that plugs into the headset itself carries sounds into the headset, so if you move around or fiddle with the cord, you'll hear it. Personally it doesn't bother me much, but I know it can bother some.
2) Setting up the microphone requires going into device sound settings in your system controls and turning all the things all the way up, because the microphone, despite the clarity, is very quiet when first plugged in. This doesn't bother me much either because once it's fixed, it's fixed. At least until you plug it into a different PC.
I genuinely love the heck out of this headset, and if you need a solid replacement with a GOOD mic without having to donate a limb or an organ for it, this is a good choice.

Pros: Sleek and subtle design, does not look like a typical gamer headset. They do not have "CoolerMaster" written anywhere.
Cable is braided but not stiff. It is detachable with a locking mechanism.
Ear pads can be taken off and cleaned.
One of the most comfortable headphones I've ever tried. It is comparable to the Sony MDR 1R with soft pads and small clamping force. Even though there is not the typical amount of clamping, it still feels snug on your head. I wear glasses and forgot these were on my head even after 5+ hours.
Microphone quality is above average and is easy to adjust its position.
Sound is leaning towards neutral. It lacks detail in the low and high frequencies but given its price, the sound is already top tier. Nothing sounds grainy or muddy.
Soundstage is excellent considering that this is a closed headphone and the low price. If these were $250 CAD, I would still recommend them.
Imaging is excellent without the need for virtual sound nonsense.
The value is insane because you do not need a separate amp and microphone.
Cons: Ear pads do not come off easily.
CM stated they are not planning to sell replacement pads separately in the future.
No cover for the mic port when the mic is detached.
Harder to find a replacement cable if it's ever broken. You will have to buy one off companies that specialize in custom cables.
Bassheads might find that the amount of subbass on this headphone is not sufficient.
No RGB (pro for me).
Packaging is really good and the accessories are perfect.
