There are no issues with the way the pop top fits into the part that adheres to the phone, BUT the actual tortoise shell top of the thing has come apart from the collapsible rubber twice since I bought it in the end of November (it’s now mid February). I’ve superglued it back together twice. I would also say the surface scratches up very easily.

    I've always used the regular popsockets in the past and they've been great. This one has stayed in my phone just fine, but after laying flat on surfaces (when I am not using it to hold my phone up like a little kickstand) I've noticed it has gotten scratched up quite a bit in the few weeks I've had it. I think the company probably needs to consider a better coating on the outside of it, since this will of course be on many surfaces while your device sits flat. Not the end of the world, but if scratches on something bother you, you may want to reconsider. I think better to scratch this than my phone!
