Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Some of the pros of this TV/monitor is the extremely high contrast ratios. I don't have a professional calibration unit, but I would estimate it is at least 4000-5000 to 1. I've seen much worse on higher priced monitors. It's really stunning when compared to an older monitor, you can't believe that the picture can be so much better.
Some would complain it's a VA panel and not IPS. Yes, there is slight washout when moving side to side, but really, at 3ft away, it's pretty much negligible; and honestly, almost imperceptible. After a solid month of use I can say I don't even notice it anymore unless I want to.
Some of the other pros are that it supports 10bit color, and HDR to a limited extent. A con is that it's limited to 60Hz refresh rate, but I'm not a huge competitive gamer, this was fine for me. Color-wise it is superb, very vivid and crisp once you dial the settings in.
---=== SOME HINTS ABOUT USING THIS WITH A PC ===---
You need to set it up to use the full bandwidth of your HDMI connection. **Make sure you are using HDMI rated cables for at least 4k@60Hz.** Nothing less will work. You will need to buy one, there isn't one included in the box!
You will need to enable Game Mode, as well as Input Signal Plus. To do so, follow these steps:
1) On the remote, press the Home button
2) Highlight "Settings", and then select it (don't press up)
3) On the menu that appears go to "General"
4) Navigate to "External Device Manager"
5) From there, Navigate to "Game Mode" and turn it on
6) Then, navigate down, and select "Input Signal Plus"
7) On the new screen, enable it for whatever input you plugged your PC into.
There you go. Adjust your regular screen settings to taste under Picture settings > Expert settings. I have mine set like so, but this may be too bright for you:
Backlight 48
Brightness 0
Contrast 50
Sharpness 10
You might want to change color tone to taste as well. I have mine set to "Standard".
In Windows you can set your display scaling to 125%, which seems to be a good compromise. If I had younger eyes I'd set to 100%. YMMV.
For anything else, apps and TV, keep in mind they have separate display profiles! So you can set different color profiles, motion compensation, brightness, etc depending on your use.
Netflix, HBOMAX, Google Play, and Amazon Prime work flawlessly. Google Play and Netflix had the best picture quality wise in my estimation. I have yet to try with Disney+. Amazon Prime is no better in navigation, its a hot mess.
I have yet to see an Ad that isn't a tiny box next to the settings. I simply never agreed to any of the Privacy terms offered. Seems simple enough. Functionality wasn't hampered, and who really wants to talk to their TV (looking at you Bixby)?
I have this attached to Ethernet, so I can't comment on Wifi performance.
For what it's worth, I picked this up when it went on sale at $$377.00 after tax. Otherwise I probably would have passed for an actual PC monitor.
I really like the other three 4k TV's I have in the house so I was leaning that way. I don't have room for anything larger than a 32" so and after looking into it I could only find two 32" TV's that were 4k. One was this Q50 Samsung model the other was a Samsung "picture frame" type for $100 more.
Well after buying it I am so very glad I did, even though it was quite a bit more money than a 32" 1080P model. The difference between 4K and 1080 when sitting about 2 to 3 feet from the TV is amazing. (When using a true 4k source. I have not paid attention yet as to how well it upscales.) It is an edge lit LED TV so no dimming zones but black levels seem pretty good for an edge lit TV. It is a QLED so the color pops pretty well but it seems to be a bit weak on contrast and brightness but that is just my first impression. The screen seems to be bit reflective so glare from lights in the room may be a issue to some.
Some people comment that they hate the remote that comes with this TV. I disagree completely. This is the exact same remote I have on two three other Samsung TVs. When you compare this remote to the traditional remote you first notice how small it is and how few buttons it has and that is great part of it. When I look an old style remote now with its several dozen buttons I just shake my head. Trying to operate a remote with a large number buttons for the most part requires you to look at the remote and for seldom used functions, hunt around for where the button is. With this Samsung remote, and its very few controls, combined with the Samsung interface on the screen, I can control everything on the TV without even looking once at the remote. It takes couple hours to get used to it at first but once you do, you will not want return to a many button remote.
Overall I am very happy with this TV.
If you are thinking of buying a 32" TV and want 4k, this is pretty much it but if you have room for a 43" you will have a lot more options to choose from.
Connecting it to a PC and it's dark and mouse cursor is lagging? Set Picture mode to "Dynamic" for brightness (I then lower the Backlight to 45 under Expert settings) and set your Intel/AMD/Nvidia control panel to @60 FPS. That's it. No "Game mode", no fancy settings, as the great Todd once said: It just works.
Connecting it to a console? A bit trickier, as this is really a matter of personal taste. Under Expert settings I turn off Digital Clean View, set Auto Motion Plus' Jitter settings to 2 or 3 for old-gen 30 FPS games (anything more causes icons to Jitter and dance around), increase Color to maximum to get that simulated "OLED" feeling, and enable Contrast Enhancer. Looks beautiful and sharp, in my humble opinion.
All in all, a great personal TV set for up to 60 FPS gaming, probably the best (and only, unfortunately) relatively affordable 4K monitor in the 32" niche.
For movies and series, though? I'm not sure I would recommend it. It's way too small, and I doubt you'll notice any special detail. Maybe as a bedroom set, but then I would recommend just getting yourself a cheaper non-QLED screen.
Oh, and to the top review complaining about the voice-activated initial setup? Yeah, no hard feelings, but it's really a non-issue. You set this once to be able to share/control the screen using your phone, or simply skip the whole thing altogether and forget it's ever there. The monitor does NOT talk to you after that initial setup process. Talk about blowing stuff out of proportions ;)

I use this as a computer monitor, TV and will eventually hook-up a gaming device, with the hope that it will give as good as display as the videos I watch via the computer.
A nice TV.
La pantalla es muy delgada, estilizada y de excelente calidad.
