I purchased this rack to hold my new 10th Generation iPad which is just over 9 1/2 inches wide. I was surprised to see how small the rack is, only 3 3/4 inches wide and about 3 inches tall. But it is strong and sturdy and easily supports my iPad. It takes up very little space on my table if I’m not using it. Easy to adjust, a button at the top left corner that you just press on. There is a separate piece that fits in the curved rack if needed for padding. The curved rack at the bottom is too narrow to use for most books however. Katie pb

Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Der (tragbare) Stände besteht zum Teil aus Metall und zum Teil aus Plastik. Neben den Ständer (welcher zusammengebaut und zusammengeklappt geliefert wird) ist noch eine kleine "Gummilasche" dabei, welche man in die Mulde des Standfusses legt - dadurch soll das Smartphone oder E-Reader nicht am unteren Rand zerkratzen.
An der Seite das Ständers ist eine Art Druckknopf, um den Winkel des Standfußes zu verändern - mehrer Einstellungen sind möglich, von "fast Senkrecht" bis "fast Waagerecht".
Ich nutze den Ständer hauptsächlich für meinen ebook-Reader, mit 7 Zoll. Und es passt perfekt, sogar mit der Schutztasche, die ich um den Reader habe, ist eine Anwendung möglich. Hier ist dann aber auch die Grenze, was die Dicke (Reader + Tasche) betrifft, erreicht.
Auch das wischen der (Buch-)Seiten ist möglich, ohne, dass der Ständer verruscht - sofern der Ständer auf einem festen Untergrund steht.
Laut Artikelbeschreibung sind Geräte bis 10 Zoll möglich, das kann ich nicht beurteilen. Jedoch habe ich den Ständer auch mit Smartphone ausprobiert, wo es für mein Empfinden 2 (kleine) Schwächen gibt. Liegt das Smartphone quer im Ständer, wird der untere Bildschirmrand minimal überdeckt. Im Hochformat kann es wiederum passieren, dass die unteresten Tasten nicht perfekt zu bedienen sind. Es gibt zwar eine Aussparung für den "Homebutten", doch hier zeigt sich "das Produktions-Alter" des Ständers, denn inzwischen gibt es oftmals auch "Tasten" rechts und links neben dem Homebutten.
Alles in allem stören mich diese "kleinen Schwächen" aber nicht. Wie erwähnt, die Anschaffung erfolgte für meinen ebook-Reader und diesbezüglich finde ich den kleinen Ständer als TOP und sehr angenehmen Helfer, den Reader in gute Leseposition zu stellen!!! Ein echt simpler und preisgünstiger Helfer, sein Reader in die optimale Lesestellung zu stellen - hätte ich mir echt schon eher anschaffen sollen!!!
