This is the best game I’ve ever played! It’s got battle stuff which I usually avoid but I actually enjoy in this game. I’ve been through it 6 times. It’s not a quick game to finish and still, every time I play it I find things I haven’t seen before. The characters are extremely well developed. This game doesn’t show up easily when searching switch games. That might be because it’s an older game but they still seem to be adding new things to it. I’m expecting another update by summer of this year. (2024)

The amount of time that I’ve enjoyed this game…it’s worth 20x the cost.

I’m a mellow game player. Don’t like stressful games. This isn’t always as mellow as other games if played but if I find myself getting wound up, I can stop what I’m doing and go fishing or something. I’m just constantly amazed at how much has been put into this game!

I’d give it a 100 stars if I could.

I was a huge animal crossing fan, now I play this game! I love the character stories and all of the secret things I’m figuring out how to do! There’s endless quests and things to be doing each day in the game, the days are not real time like animal crossing, and I really enjoy the seasons! I play on my switch.

I bought this game right before my family went through a very stressful time and I love the game!! It is fun to play while playing it, I love that it is open ended and I can keep just having hours of fun with it. I also LOVE that if I'm not able to play for a week or a month nothing happens to my game (the one thing I hate about animal crossing) to which this game is very very similar to. My only issue with the game is that you can't make the words/notebook bigger. I wear glasses and if I'm playing on the TV I have to be right up next to it to read what everything says. It's better on the hand-held option but sometimes I just want to kick back with it on the big TV.

you can buy Stardew Valley off Steam for like $6 but i really wanted mine on a my nintendo switch. its a super fun and cute game and so far i love it. if youre wanting to spend the least amount of money possible buy it off steam on a laptop or computer. i highly recommend getting it for your switch tho!
