Huion H610 Pro V2 Graphic Drawing Tablet Tilt Function Battery-free Stylus and 8192 Pen Pressure with 8 Pen NibsEDIT July 2022: Still using this tablet! No issues have come up since my first purchase in 2018. I've used up the last of the nibs, but the tablet still functions as before. This tablet has definitely outlasted it's price.EDIT March 2020: I'm still using this product and I still stand by my rating. Still works like the first day I had it. The plastic protector is still holding up and the pen still works perfectly fine!! Just wanted to give an update that this is still a GREAT tablet to get if you don't have the money for the newest Huion or a Wacom. If you dont want to read my novel of a review below here's the quick version of my review for this tablet. I thoroughly enjoy using this tablet. It does exactly what I want and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for it. If you are a student, hobbyist, or professional who wants to draw/3D model/whatever else with a tablet, I definitely recommend this. As someone who uses a Intuos 4 at work, this is definitely comparable, if not better than the Intuos, mostly because of the price and it works flawlessly with Windows latest update.**Pros / Cons of Product:**+ Price+ Size overall and size of drawing surface is perfect+ Came with drawing surface protector that was extremely easy to apply+ With drawing surface protector on, doesn't feel rough and no scratches after heavy use+ Has pen holder and 8 pen nibs+ Pen pressure levels+ No recharging the pen (as other Huion tablets you do have to)+ Works with latest Windows Update and Windows Ink can be disabled+ Can customize orientation of tablet and disable buttons in the software+ Simple to set up software- Tablet and pen feel really lightweight, wouldn't want to put much weight on the pen for fear of it breaking- Can't save button configurations for multiple applications- Pen loosely stands in pen stand I will be updating the longer I use this product, but I believe this tablet works extremely well for me, and hope others will find my review pretty thorough so they can decide whether they'd like this product as well.:)I use a Wacom Intuos tablet at work 40+ hours a week for the past 5 years doing 3D modeling and texturing. Never been able to think the price of a Wacom was worth getting one for myself at home. I began researching alternative brands and ran into the Huion website. Found the products to be extremely affordable and the reviews I read on their products on other sites (Amazon, Reddit, art forums) were always well and were comparable to Wacom. Decided to take the dive and buy this new H610 Pro V2 tablet, mostly because you don't have to recharge the pen (unlike the other Huion tablets), and the size fit on my desk at home. I typically become skeptical of smaller brands with oddly affordable prices, but I decided the price was worth a shot at least try it. After using it for a week, here is what I've found about the tablet.** Extensive Review**I do have to admit, when I first unboxed the tablet I immediately thought of this: "Wow this is extremely light." I'm not sure what materials are used for this, but it is definitely a lighter-weighted plastic than the Wacoms. Even the pen feels kind of light and empty, like even the thought of sitting on it could break it. It's not an extremely bad note just something that I immediately noticed. The pen is comfortable to hold and the buttons work extremely well. I have small hands and I actively use the nib and two side buttons for work and browsing the web and haven't found anything unusual about the pen. There is no eraser button at the top end of the pen, but I wouldn't have used it anyway even if it was there. Extremely responsive and fits my hands well and I actually like how light weight it is. It does feel a bit loose standing in the pen holder, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Also comes with 8 extra pen nibs in the pen holder and its great you don't have to charge this pen, its battery-less. When I'd doodle in Photoshop, it never stuttered or lagged and was extremely responsive to pressure and button presses. The entire tablet size is about 9.5" x 14". The drawing surface is a full 6.5" x 10". As you can see in the pictures I attached, whatever is made to look like the drawing surface, is the actual drawing size. It's not a subsection of drawing surface like the Wacoms. You can draw to the entire edge of that drawing surface, it even gives you some leeway and recognizes if you go over the drawing surface and onto the tablet surface. You are however able to customize the size of the drawing surface in the software if you feel thats too much drawing space for you. There are soft touch buttons on the drawing surface, but I don't ever use those and intentionally covered them with the drawing surface protector that Huion provided with the product. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the soft buttons before I attached the protector, which by the way was extremely easy to attach and the texture of it is great and not extremely noisy or rough. It has firmly stuck to the surface and I dont notice it when I'm actively drawing. You can see in a pic I have it lifted so you can see the actual surface. There are also buttons on the side of the tablet with some pretty cute icons. I don't really use the buttons because I work in a 3D program called Maya, I have to use keyboard shortcuts more than premade buttons on the tablet. So unfortunately won't be able to say much more about that. Now I am going to tell you the selling point which really pushed the tablet to be 5 stars.... it WORKS PERFECTLY WELL WITH THE LATEST UPDATE OF WINDOWS AND WINDOWS INK!!! I have had problems with the Wacom tablet at work to work on the latest update of Windows and Windows Ink. I thought it was on my end, but upon researching found that a lot of people have been having the same issues since one of Windows recent updates. Those issues make it impossible to work on Windows right now, but here I am... able to work with this Huion tablet. Thank you thank you thank you to the Huion employees who was able to figure out how to get the tablet to be functional again with Windows. I can DRAG internet browser windows, I can RIGHT CLICK in internet/desktop browser, there is no lag when I right click anywhere, it works perfectly well and I'm actually able to work..Also, the software used to set up the tablet is extremely simple to set up and I'm able to customize how I set up my tablet. Example, I have my computer tower on my right side, and the tablet has the USB cord on the left side. At first I thought I was going to have an ugly wire run across my desk, but I found I can turn the tablet 180 degrees and tell the software thats how I have it, and it works! I can turn off any and all buttons on the tablet and pen, I can have the tablet work on only one screen or both, can turn off Windows Ink, have it screen ratio'd to my monitor set up, or even make a custom drawing area. It would be nice if you can make changes to the button set up according to what program you have open, but I'm just happy it works for me in general.

It does exactly what I want and I didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for it. If you are a student, hobbyist, or professional who wants to draw/3D model/whatever else with a tablet, I definitely recommend this. As someone who uses a Intuos 4 at work, this is definitely comparable, if not better than the Intuos, mostly because of the price and it works flawlessly with Windows latest update.

    **Pros / Cons of Product:**
    + Price
+ Size overall and size of drawing surface is perfect
+ Came with drawing surface protector that was extremely easy to apply
+ With drawing surface protector on, doesn't feel rough and no scratches after heavy use
+ Has pen holder and 8 pen nibs
    + Pen pressure levels
+ No recharging the pen (as other Huion tablets you do have to)
+ Works with latest Windows Update and Windows Ink can be disabled
+ Can customize orientation of tablet and disable buttons in the software
+ Simple to set up software
    - Tablet and pen feel really lightweight, wouldn't want to put much weight on the pen for fear of it breaking
    - Can't save button configurations for multiple applications
    - Pen loosely stands in pen stand

I will be updating the longer I use this product, but I believe this tablet works extremely well for me, and hope others will find my review pretty thorough so they can decide whether they'd like this product as well.:)

I use a Wacom Intuos tablet at work 40+ hours a week for the past 5 years doing 3D modeling and texturing. After using it for a week, here is what I've found about the tablet.

    ** Extensive Review**
I do have to admit, when I first unboxed the tablet I immediately thought of this: "Wow this is extremely light." I'm not sure what materials are used for this, but it is definitely a lighter-weighted plastic than the Wacoms.

I can DRAG internet browser windows, I can RIGHT CLICK in internet/desktop browser, there is no lag when I right click anywhere, it works perfectly well and I'm actually able to work.
    .
Also, the software used to set up the tablet is extremely simple to set up and I'm able to customize how I set up my tablet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I expected

This is my first Huion tablet and have been using an Wacom Intuos 4 for many years. My Intuos 4 has been showing age and I wanted to see what Huion had to offer. This tablet has all the features I absolutely needed (wheel for zooming in/out, many buttons, preferable size, non-rechargeable pen) and the sensitivity works great. I couldn't find any reference to the Huion driver software, so I was delightfully surprised to see that it offered almost as much as Wacom.

    Pros:
    • Software nearly comparable to Wacom - Sensitivity adjustment, Tablet Rotation (you can turn it 180 if you're a lefty), Key customization
    • Lightweight - The tablet weights almost nothing, as does the pen.
    • Buttons - So many buttons! The soft buttons are an awesome addition as well.
    • Sensitivity - I had to adjust the pen through the driver software, but the pressure ranges were apparent and worked well. I'm definitely satisfied with this performance.
    • Wheel - The zoom in/out is very fluid albeit a bit too sensitive at times. When you press the center button, the label of what is "selected" pops up on the bottom of the screen very lightly. (See image with "Adjust Brush Size")
    • On/Off indicator light - I didn't even know there was one and it is so tiny that I thought it was a spec of dust or paint at first. I can appreciate it though!
    • Surface feel - Very smooth with a bit of a textured surface, like paper.
    • Nibs - A decent count. I try not to draw too hard and wear through them so they'll certainly last me.
    • It just works!

    Cons:
    • Software - There are limits to it. You cannot customize the wheel settings. I barely saw the label on the screen whispering which selection I'm on. I would love to make that a big darker, or bigger. Wacom also offered "on-screen controls" with there buttons, which I'm going to miss. Huion doesn't have that type of option that I can see. The maximum customization you have is "Keyboard Combination Keys", "Mouse Button", "Switch", and "Shell program", which is still a great feature. Thankfully I have 12+16 customizable keys to work with and adapt with.
    • Light indicator - So small! Like the size of a pin hole! But not a big issue.
    • Soft buttons - Before I rotated the tablet 180, I was having a heck of a time trying to use the soft buttons. When my pen went over to the soft button area, it wouldn't press the button, instead it would move the mouse to that area on the screen (as if the soft buttons were "active drawing area") and click on the screen - which was annoying. After the rotation, the soft button area was no longer "active drawing area" and worked properly and without a hitch.
    • Wheel - Extremely sensitive with no way to turn it down. If my palm brushes just over or slightly against it, as if I were reaching over to the mouse, it would activate and zoom in/out. It's an adjustment if anything.
    • Lightweight - As wonderfully light and portable as this may be (which I don't plan on transporting it), its lightness makes me worry about the longevity of it. Usually lighter electronics don't tend to last long, or are just in general very fragile - but I will try to update if/when it kicks the bucket.
    • Port - You only get one port and the USB piece that attached to the table is heckin small. Fragility is the theme here. I only worry with this because I had to retire my Intuos because BOTH the ports eventually gave up. Meaning I had 2 ports - one broke a few years later (unfixable unless I wanna pay $100+ probably), so I had to use the other one, and few years after that that one broke as well. I'm not rough with my electronics, but - especially when these don't have specialized, protective cases - things happen over 5+ years and bumps occur. This truly worries me for this itty bitty little port and connector.

Overall, I love this tablet. I do worry about how long it will last, but at this time, it is an amazing value for the price ($63.99 before tax - preorder sale). I have found no heavy, glaring, impacting faults at this time. Even though I have quite a bit of con's, I don't think it's fair to give it 4 stars because those con's are not mistakes of a broken product, and the few lacking features are to be expected for the price (Huion $63 vs Wacom $250+). This product works through and through and I am extremely satisfied.

I love photography and always shoot raw and edit it in Photoshop and Lightroom. I find that a mouse is a bit limiting when it comes to doing more complex actions, like dodging / burning, painting masks, making selections, and clone healing. I wanted to try a tablet that is a medium sized, that will fit much better on my desk or will be more easily taken with me when I travel without sacrificing too much working area. I’ve really liked Huion tablets in the past, with their great performance and excellent value, so I decided to give the Huion HS610 a try.

    WHAT I LIKE:
    ➠ Excellent packaging
➠ The active area is nice and a good size for my style of photo editing
➠ Excellent value compared to Wacom tablets
➠ The pen is functional and comfortable to use. While it doesn’t feel solid, it is lightweight.
➠ Very smooth performance - the pen glides smoothly, and the pen movement translates to the screen with no lag
➠ The tip feels fine and slides nicely along the tablet surface. One really nice feature that brings this in line with the Wacom pens is that it doesn’t need a battery.
➠ Supports 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, which is double that of the equivalent Wacom tablet
➠ The included pen tips are simple (you don't have the fancy variety you get with the Wacom tablets), but effective
➠ The buttons, which can have a number of useful functions assigned to them, feel good and are easy to press.
➠ 12 customized press keys and 16 customized soft keys (far more than you can remember the shortcuts for!). I would recommend putting small labels on them to remind yourself of what they do.
➠ Very decent software that allows you to set specific areas of the screen to work on if you don’t want the entire screen

    WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED:
➠ Control software is very simple and could have more functionality
➠ Ability to have application-specific settings. With the Huion tablet, there is only one set of global settings. It would be a nice feature to be able to assign different functions to a given button in different applications.
➠ No scrolling / panning button. You can get around this in some applications - for example in Photoshop you can assign the spacebar (which activates the pan tool in Photoshop when held down) to one of the buttons. But in other applications you're unable to use the pen to pan / scroll - unless you put the tablet into tablet mode (one of the options in the Huion software), which can then cripple other functions (for example the ability to select text in web browsers).

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Overall, this tablet offers very good value. Although it's not quite as refined as the equivalent Wacom tablets, it's very close, and it's so much less expensive. Unless there's a very specific reason you have to get a Wacom, this should be on the top of your list of potential tablets.
