Crafted with the finesse of a master jeweler, the PIXI exudes quality that belies its diminutive size. Its legs, sturdy as the pillars of Olympus, provide a stable base for your photographic endeavors, whether you're capturing the urban wilderness or the actual wilderness.
The design is so sleek, it could probably win a beauty contest against other tripods. But it's not just a pretty face. The PIXI is as functional as it is beautiful, with a ball head mechanism that's smoother than a jazz tune on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Adjusting your camera angle becomes an exercise in elegance.
And let's talk about portability. This mini tripod is so compact, it could fit in your coat pocket, ready to be whipped out faster than a magician's rabbit. It's the ideal companion for the mobile photographer, the vlogger on the go, or anyone who values the mantra 'travel light, shoot right'.
The PIXI isn't just about holding cameras, though. It's a statement. It declares that you're serious about your photography, but you also know life's too short for heavy, cumbersome gear.
TL;DR: The Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod is a marvel of miniaturization, blending impeccable design with robust functionality. It's perfect for photographers and videographers who understand that the best tripod is the one you actually bring with you – and with the PIXI, you'll never want to leave it behind.
Although this tripod doesn't offer as much as the Pixi Mini Evo, it does offer fantastic portability, simplicity, and rock solid functionality. I have been on the fence on whether or not to buy this tripod until I saw one in an Apple Store and got to try it out a bit. The ball head adjustment button was surprisingly easy and sturdier than you could imagine it would be. It feels light weight but solid at the same time and it is just easy to carry around.
I'm using this with a Sony A6300 and have used the PZ Sony G 18-105, Sony Zeiss 24, and the Canon 85 1.8 with the MC-11 lenses. I have to say I doubted the 2.2lb estimate and didn't think it would keep the A6300 sturdy with the reasonably large and heavy 18-105 but it did with flying colors. Once I release the button, the camera stops moving and is perfectly steady. It is really amazing how such a simple system can be so reliably sturdy. Of course using it with the other much lighter lenses works just fine as well and when I have my camera on the tripod I don't worry about it falling over as the legs are sturdy enough to keep it from tilting over.
It also apparently works as a short seflie stick but that wasn't really my intent with it. I don't use camera grips and I didn't buy the A6300 for a selfie camera but it is nice that it can be used in this way.
You can buy the Pixi Mini Evo for around $50 and I'm sure it is great, but I got this because I want something small that I can carry around effortlessly that works quickly and simply. Manfrotto didn't cut corners on this and it shows in quality materials and intelligent design elements. It is easy to carry in your bag or even your pocket and it is even easier to use when you need it. At $25 this tripod is easy to recommend and I will update my review should I find any more positives or faults with this.
Also, I wanted to note that although I did test this tripod with the A6300 and 18-105, the pictures I posted are with the Zeiss 24 1.8.

I’d say I am satisfied with this product. It is built strong and feels durable when you hold it. The legs are wide enough to support an entry-level DSLR camera and keep it standing securely, but also not wide enough to take up space. The underpinning of the legs is also partially rubberized which further helps with stability. However, if you mount a stick or monopod between the tripod and a camera, it will only be able to support a small and lightweight camera, like a point-and-shoot or an action camera. I like that it is heavy for its small size which speaks to its sturdiness and stability. I can use it as a handle too for filming.
Additionally, I like the ball head mount type. I prefer this over pan and tilt for a tripod or stick as it allows a faster way to adjust the orientation of the camera while also giving you more flexibility to level against uneven surfaces. On this note, the feature that stands out to me the most is the way the ball head is controlled or adjusted. You basically press and hold the red button as you adjust the ball head and then release the red button to lock the ball head. Honestly, I like this approach better than a screw. I have easier, safer, and better control with this technique.
Best of all, this tripod is travel-friendly and fits comfortably on a camera backpack.
Over-all, I highly recommend this product!

I use it as a stand for recorders and mics, but it will also work for sure for my cameras if needed. The head ball holds in place very well, the lock mechanism seems tight and strong (it doesn't move even when you try to "force" it). Very good quality.
I thought I would also use it as a hand grip for recorders and mics (with the legs closed). It's probably not the best handgrip you can find (not the most confortable, especially for long recordings), but it still adds some versatility. I'll use a wrist brace to wrap around the closed legs when I use it as a hand grip (see picture), it will be more confortable and probably soften the handling noises (legs tend to keep moving a little bit when you hold it in you hand).
