Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Becareful of broken c-clip that almost costed me $3500 worth of equipment.
Received this monopod as a birthday gift last year. I used it with Olympus E-M1 and 40-80mm F/2.8 in a local ice hockey match. While shooting pictures, the monopod dropped. Luckily I had my strap on my neck as I didn't trust myself. I thought it was my day that I didn't tighten up the bolt to the monopod properly. I checked and the bolt was still attached to my camera, the plastic turn knob fell off and seperated from the monopod.I sent email to Manfrotto and asked for a spare parts or a repair and they required a receipt to do that. I am sure that I won't ask my friend for a receipt about it. I don't know what they need me to prove as this is clearly their product... A faulty one that almost costed me a fortune. I am not sure if I want to use Manfrotto again after this incident. I will go back to my Gitzo.
I watched several video reviews online before buying it. The build is indeed sturdy. Extension length fits most of the shooting needs. I'm quite happy with the product. A kudos to the support where they handle shipment issue very very well. A great seller who I can trust.

Gingillo che fa il suo dovere. Io lo uso prevalentemente con il gimbal, a volte anche con la reflex. Abbastanza compatto e leggero (ma solido) da portare praticamente ovunque.
I know taking photographs using a tripod is best, but a Monopod is a very good compromise. I've used it with a Canon compact camera and the results (compared with hand holding) are vastly better. Compacts with a viewscreen but no viewfinder are very difficult to hold steady. The monopod makes this dead easy, and the quality of my photos is greatly improved. The Manfrotto device is light, well made, and very quick to asemble and use. Very pleased...
