So first job, nothing extraordinary, i put zhyun crane 2s + lumix gh5mII and panaleica 12mm f1,4 (~360g) with tiny led light. Everything was ok, except i lost rubber pads one by one, assistants jut kept bringing me those things find on the floor, so i just glued them back one by one as they continued to fell off. Then after 4-5 days i lost setscrew, so thread just came off exposing dobleside tape, that's fine except monopod started to lean either making this setup impossible to stay vertical.
The monopod itself is heavy, even if you compare it to aluminium sirui or benro.
Twist locks are just fine, but the top thread lock just kept unscrewing, so during the shoot you actually busy trying to screw evereything back.. drop of locktite should fix that, but i was done with other issues.
The central clumn thread is pring loaded 1/4" with 3/8 adapter, looks ok, but i think one day it can potentially snap with this setup, i feel much safer with regular 3/8 thread like the rest of the monopods on the market. The best thing about that monopod, that i bought it on amazon and return process was just a breeze.

The quality of this made me go Wow, - and I am a spoilt brat when it comes to my photo gear. Everything here, including packaging and small details about it are top notch, truly. I was choosing between this and a couple of other highly reviewed and rated brands, and opted for a British brand, naturally, having never encountered 3 Legged Thing products. Such brilliant name too! And boy, am I glad I ordered this.
The monopod comes in a separate packaging from the legs package, but all together then placed into an outer branded box, without any ridiculous annoying tape over the flaps, etc - because they thought of ease of opening and pleasure of unboxing, I simply know it.
The monopod and legs are straight forward operation, but goodness-me - what sturdiness, what feel, what absolute joy of operating the impeccable sizing of the knobs and the machining of every part. It is such a pleasure to hold an operate, I enjoy gripping it all the time. It is LIGHT. And it is strong - the capacity rating beats all of the coopetition straight out, in fact, it can hold all of the other 3 competitor's capacity, plus their monopods on it, if you could rig such beast.
I absolutely love the thought behind small attention to detail - the carabiner clip with built-in flathead and a hex and a bottle opener - the precise tools for any field work. The stickers with the beautiful logo. I am an immediate fan, and I already ordered a ballhead from the 3legged thing, because I know it will be manufactured superbly. Shame I have 2 solid carbon tripods already - I wouldn't hesitate for a second ordering this brand tripod. I am putting their website on my constant watch, as I know I'll be needing a bag soon (don't tell my wife).
I couldn't be more pleased with the product.

ミニ三脚は、マンフロットやSIRUIなどと同様、ボールが内蔵されていて角度を変えられる。
冬の屋外で素手で触ってみたが、カーボンなので全然冷たくない。やはりこれが一番ありがたいかも。脚の固定は六角形のロックナットのような形状をしているのでとても回しやすい。

グリップ部分もとても握りやすい。

身長が166cmと低めなので、一脚は最下段は伸ばさなくてもアイレベルの高さになった。
雲台は、NeewerのGM27。高さ93mmある。

お目当ての鳥がなくて30分ぐらいで退散したので細かな感想は書けないが、扱いやすくて自分にはちょうどよい一脚だと感じた。アウトレット品だったが、目立つような傷はなく、お買い得だった。

☆を満点にしなかったのは、今後の補修体制などに不安があるから。軒並み販売終了となり、もし銀一が代理店を止めたら補修部品などは手に入らなくなるだろう。細かな部品一つから取り寄せられるベルボンとは全く違うので、そこは注意が必要。

Not cheap, but great quality and function. This is an excellent monopod, carbon makes it light but exceptionally strong, look at the load bearing capacity. I've paired mine with a Desmond DMH 2 tilt head and its a great combination.
The optional foot is also worthwhile for a bit of extra stability and the option of using it as a table tob support.
