I purchased this SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB UHS-I/U3 SDXC Flash Memory Card after careful indepth review and research. I compared it to other SanDisk products as well as other brands to make sure that I chose the right one for my use. This is used in a SONY A7r SLR camera as a memory device. The 128 GB storage capacity is plenty to keep me shooting photos for days. The write speed as well as the read speed is sufficient for my needs, although, when I want to view the photo right away after having taken a shot, it is not immediately available. Admittedly, I find myself being impatient and looking for immediate gratification. I shoot in RAW format, so it is to be expected that the camera and the memory disk will take half a second or so to store the photo.
The memory card is extremely consistent, durable, and has endured many temperature changes as well. I feel comfortable and confident that it always performs at the highest setting, as well as delivering consistently awesomely great quality photos. Downloading photos from the camera into my software and onto an external hard drive is quick as well. I also upload my photos from the camera to my amazon cloud drive where I store them for safe keeping.
I very much recommend the SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB UHS-I/U3 SDXC Flash Memory Card for use in a SONY alpha camera or any other device needing a storage memory card.

I researched quite a few high speed SD cards that were U3 speed for use in a Sony AX53 4k video camera. Of all the ones out there, this card provided the best 128GB card in price to performance ratio. I'm sure the price on these will start to come down drastically in the near future as higher capacity 512GB cards become popular. Thus far, I have recorded over 3 hours of 4k video on 2 separate 128GB cards. Both cards worked flawlessly. Write speeds are top notch. I was able to record 4k video at 60frames per sec without a dropped frame. No issues with audio and video sync. Copied the video using a built in USB 3.0 slot on a mac. Transfer to SSD drive was fast and without issue.
Bottom line the best card for your money as of Q1 2016.

I have a couple of SanDisk cards and I haven't ever had a problem with any of them (unlike my Transcend ones). The 128GB is a good size especially for videography and for storing RAW images on one long wedding with sessions. It works perfectly with my D750 and the usage hasn't jumped from slot1 to 2 when I have this in my first slot, as the primary. Transferring to the mac is also fast and easy. So far, using it has been a breeze.

I was looking at the next speed up but based on the user manual of the camera it looked like the next speed up wasn't supported so I figured it wasn't worth the extra money. I am able to shoot burst shots and have yet to get an error message about the buffer being full and have to wait for the camera to write to the card. I shoot in RAW as well, so thats 40-50 MB files and doing burst shots. I have shot probably 5 thousand pictures so far and have been very pleased so far!
