      About Roof Prism Binoculars:
      The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. I received two pairs of Bushnell 10x42 binoculars, one purchased, one as a replacement. Both had calibration/quality issues, and I had to return both of them.The first pair arrived with different focus between the two eyepieces, as demonstrated in the video. The right-eye diopter setting cannot be turned far enough to account for the difference in focus, so you'll have to use the binoculars with one eye totally out of focus, or both eyes noticeably out of focus. I requested a replacement from Amazon, hoping that this was a one-off calibration issue.Alas, it was not to be. The replacement pair arrived without obvious focus issues, but before I could breath a sigh of relief, I realized that I was seeing double. Before long I realized that the two tubes were not aligned correctly (optically; see photo), and that the replacement pair was also unusable, unless you enjoy double vision or feeling dizzy from trying to cross your eyes to compensate for the double vision.TL;DR: avoid these binoculars.

My husband has arthritis and has difficulty holding on to things. His old binoculars were large and cumbersome. I found these on amazon and he loves them. Can hold them great and finds they're easy to use and clear for viewing. He carries them everywhere and uses them whenever he wants to get a better look at his subject matter. Great for hockey and other sports venues in rinks and stadiums, or concerts, or wildlife, etc. Easy and compact to carry around. I got bonus points for buying these Busnell binoculars!!

I think that pretty much sums these up. They don't fog up too much and don't have the best quality lenses in low light conditions (break of dawn hunting and twilight hunting). But for the average user these are just fine, because you're not spending $200+ on some binoculars you're barely going to use anyway!

I wear glasses, and the extended distance cups on the lenses are extremely useful, enabling me to see things in perfect focus, without my glasses. This was a gift for a distant friend , so I didn't get to use it myself. But this birdwatcher has repeated several times how good these glasses are and how much better they are than their old pair of binoculars. Better light , focus, and clarity. Not too heavy for the girl. Without a side by side comparison, how could I tell? But the reviews by the user seem very satisfactory. Certainly not $300 binoculars, but pretty good.
