    En serio, lo necesitas. Olvídate de los populares 35mm, tanto el de Canon como el de Sigma son super pesados y poco versátiles. Pero este es una pasada en cuanto a transmisión de la luz, color, contraste,etc. Es super ligero, tiene 4 pasos de estabilización súper vitales para video y para fotografía también. Lo he comprado para mi EOS R y estoy encantado con el.

    Dans le passé, j'avais eu cet objectif sur un 70D, j’étais un peu déçu à pleine ouverture, mais dès F2.8 - F4 c’était parfait.
    Mais sur un 6D Mark II il est excellent. Bon piqué au centre dès F2, un vignettage très marqué mais qui donne beaucoup de charme aux images.Dès F2.8 la qualité est impeccable, et à F4 il est parfait. Le bokeh est très jolie à F2 quand on peut rajouté un peu de contexte aux images.
    Très bonne qualité optique général donc ( un peu en dessous du Tamron 35mm F1.8 que j'avais essayé)
    Les autres avantages indéniables de cet objectif, c'est surtout ça compacité et son poids. Ce qui devient très rare avec les nouveaux objectifs récents de qualités. La construction est très bonne, il tiens très en main et il est très agréable a manipulé. L'AF USM est ultra rapide est précis, ce qui est très important, et en plus on a la stabilisation. Que du bon
    L'AF du tamron 35mm 1.8 CV ,n'etait pas très efficace, ni très rapide, mais je pense plutôt a un problème de comptabilité. Il y avait toujours un décalage gde 1 sec au moins entre la fin de mise au moins et le bip. Donc trop long pour les scène en mouvements. Dommage car la qualité optique du Tamron était à coupé le souffle et très piqué dès F1.8. Mais je l'ai retourné finalement, il est aussi plus gros et plus lourd que le canon.
    J'aimerai bien essayé la version 35mm F1.4 II de canon, mais a 1600 euros tout de meme
    Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet objectif, mais qui est bien meilleur en full frame quand même que sur APSC

    Really sharp lens from wide open. The image stabilization is nice. Gives atleast 2-3 stops of stabilization. Very useful when shooting in low light. Also came with local Singapore warranty

    So I finally upgraded my old school EF 35 f/2 for this new IS USM model. I'd read reviews from all the sources I trust and thought I knew what to expect: good edge to edge sharpness even wide open, a great IS implementation, good flare / CA characteristics, low distortion, great color & contrast and pleasing bokeh given the focal length.

    I found the lens delivered on all those points except for having just a touch more barrel distortion than I was expecting. It's not bad by any means, but most reviews seemed to suggest that distortion would be negligible, whereas there's enough that I'd want to correct it most of the time. Not a big deal, but I mention it here for completeness.

    Another thing that I wasn't expecting from the reviews was just how good the AF performance would be. I mean, I knew it would be better than my old buzzy EF35, but I wasn't expecting such a dramatic improvement. On my 5DIII particularly it's very sure-footed, superbly accurate, consistent and really fast, even in poor artifical light. To be fair this is the first of the "new wave" of upgraded Canon lenses that I've purchased, and at only 35mm the motor doesn't have a lot of glass to move, but still the difference between this lens and my older design Canon lenses (even the Ls) is not subtle.

    In my book it's one of the best value lenses in Canon's line-up. If you don't need f1.4 then I can't see why you'd choose anything else at this focal length.

    Ich wollte mir schon seit längerer Zeit ein klassisches 35mm Objektiv kaufen und stand vor der Entscheidung zwischen diesem Canon 35mm f/2 IS USM oder dem ebenfalls recht neuen Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art. Ich habe mich gegen das Sigma und für das Canon entschieden, da für mich die Vorteile (Klein, Leicht, Günstig) die Nachteile (eine Blende weniger Lichtstark, vielleicht etwas weniger Schärfe) überwogen haben.

    Nun aber zur eigentlichen Rezension

    - Lieferumfang
    Das Objektiv liegt wohl verpackt im neuen, silbernen Canonkarton. Ihm beiliegend befindet sich nur die Anleitung und Garantiekarte. Eine Streulichtblende oder Objektivtasche sucht man jedoch vergebens.

    - Verarbeitung
    Das Objektiv ist im neuen Canon Design gehalten mit dünnen silbernen Ring und sieht durchaus hochwertig aus. Durch die stabilen Kunststoffe und dem Gewicht von ca. 340g fasst es sich auch gut an. Trotzdem ist es kompakt und trägt auf der Kamera nicht groß auf.

    - Autofokus und Funktionen
    Das Objektiv verfügt über einen sehr schnellen USM Ultraschallautofokus, der ebenfalls sehr leise arbeitet. Dazu ist er sehr treffsicher, was das Arbeiten sehr erleichtert und viel Spaß macht. Der Bildstabilisator arbeitet ebenso leise und ist durchaus effektiv, auch wenn man es bei 35mm Brennweite nicht so deutlich erkennt wie bei längeren Telebrennweiten. Die tolle geringe Naheinstellgrenze von 24cm erlaubt es, schön nah an Objekte heran zu gehen.

    - Bildqualität
    Ich nutze das Objektiv vor allem in Innenräumen, z.B. auf Parties sowie als Objektiv für Ganzkörperportraits, wenn der Platz mal etwas geringer ist oder ich mehr von der Umgebung abbilden möchte. Dazu ist das Objektiv sehr gut geeignet. Es besitzt schon eine hohe Schärfe ab der Offenblende von f/2, die ab f/2.8 sehr gut wird. Das Bokeh ist durch die acht Blendenlamellen sehr schön anzusehen und die Spitzlichter behalten lange ihre runde Form. Bei Offenblende und sehr großen Kontrastkanten zum Beispiel bei Gegenlicht treten kleine Chromatische Abberationen auf, die jedoch sehr einfach zu entfernen sind. Die Farbwidergabe des Objektivs gefällt mir sehr gut.

    - Fazit
    Aufgrund der tollen Verarbeitung, gepaart mit Offenblendtauglichkeit und kompaktem, leichten Design vergebe ich uneingeschränkt fünf Sterne.
