The M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 is your ideal ideal all-around lens for shooting stunning images both day and night. With a 25mm focal length and 47 degree angle of view, this lens sits right between wide and telephoto design. Its fast f1.8 circular aperture delivers beautifully soft defocused backgrounds, perfect for portraits. It also delivers superb detail even when lighting is less than optimal, which means you can skip the flash in many low-light situations.

ZERO Coating

Adapted from multilayer film deposition technology used in Olympus' industry-leading line of precision microscopes, the Zuiko Extra-Low Reflective Optical Coating practically eliminates ghosts and flares caused by in-frame light sources. This feature in invaluable when shooting into the sun or other back-lit situations.

Movie-Still Compatible (MSC)

The linear drive motor found in the M.Zuiko Digital 25mm f1.8 is Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) and provides fast, nearly silent focusing and aperture performance; a must-have for any videographer.

Included Lens Hood

The included lens hood will protect your images from ghosting and flare.

Serious Hand-Held Performance

Paired with the serious in-body image stabilization of the Olympus OM-D and PEN series of cameras, this extremely bright f1.8 lens allows you to shoot longer hand-held exposures without a tripod.

I love this lens. I've had it for a while now. Haven't had any issues. Worth it especially when compared to the prices of other 25mm lenses for my Panasonic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Lens!
Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2016
Amazing lens! I bought this to use with my Olympus Pen EPL7 for better quality photos. It does great in natural light and pretty well in low light when you hold your camera steady. Takes pretty photos of food and people (you get a nice little bokeh going on if you are into portrait photography). I use this to take photos for my travel blog too instead of lugging around a heavy camera set up. This is a great lens for the price as well. It is the equivalent of a 50 mm for a full frame DSLR, which is the best lens ever! So, I am glad I have something comparable to use for my smaller cameras. I've included some photos on a trip to Italy so you can get a little idea of what this lens can do.

    Affordable especially when bought used

    Cons:
Manual focus is very difficult to use
    Plastic build feels kinda cheap
No zoom option in camera to help with already difficult manual focus
