I bought this to scope a 130' section of 4" buried drain tile that wasn't draining. I could access the tile from both ends, so I only needed to use about 70' of it. It worked great and helped me verify roughly where and what the obstruction was (leaves and muck).
Setup is easy and intuitive and the kit comes in a very nice carrying case with custom foam inserts which securely hold all of the components firmly in place. All of the components seem to be high quality, with the camera head being of stainless steel construction and the cable/line being what seems to be a quality rigid fiberglass.
I have since used this to scope out the chimney on both my house and the pellet stove in the garage, and it worked great for those as well. The pellet stove had a relatively tight 90 elbow in it, but it handled it no problem.
For the money, I'm very satisfied. Especially considering renting one at the orange big box store will cost you $250 per day.
